What band are you using and why?

I know there was a thread back in June with the same title but now there are a whole new set of brides for '05 and '06.

We are using Jumpstreet. They are a Steven Scott band. We heard great things about them and when we heard them- we were blown away. I mean, we were rocking out in a conference room!

We are excited-- they were the only band we met with- we really liked them, and at that point I was sick of schlepping around to vendor meetings-- planning a LI wedding from NYC. I had it the point- I like it, good. Let's book.

We used Timepiece from Franklin Wayne Bands. They were amazing - definitely worth checking out in your search. Goodluck!

I used Times Square Orchestra.

We went to a lot of band showcases and they sounded the best!

Everyone at the wedding was happy with them also, having a great time and raving about them.

We were very happy and pleased with them. MaryAnne was great to work with so sweet.

Like Jola, we are also using the Times Square Orchestra!
My friend used them at her wedding last year, and they were phenomenal!!! We knew then that once our time came, we were going to use them!!!

John Christian Entertainment
John Christian is my FBIL-by marriage and we're getting the band at 1/3 of the price, not to mention they're awesome!! Check out the website!!!!

We had 'Niteflight'. They are a 9 pc band and were the one we picked out of about 10 bands. Hubby and I have a musical background and we were really impressed with their musicianship and professionalism. They also rocked! My whole family is still talking about it 6 years later..especially my friends..they all got married after me. Two of my girlfriends used them a few months ago. Ok, I'll stop gushing now!

We used Paris from Soundcheck Entertainment and LOVED them! So many of our guests took their card and two friends have booked them already!

we are using body heat. we booked them b/c we love 70's funk and r & b. they have 2 amazing male singers and 2 female singers, plus everyone else sings so there is alot a variety. they totally rock!

We are using Carozza Brothers Entertainment, we heard great things about them. Then last New Years Eve we heard them live all night and we really enjoyed them. I thought the female vocalist was awsome. They are a 6 piece band. They also are an Italian band so they sing Italian and American, which will be great for our Italian guests. They can sing a variety of music (dance, rock, disco, Italian Spanish I think too) They can pretty much sing any song. We also are having their DJ play songs.

We heard Paris. They are phenomenal!!!! We were thinking about booking them before we chose Carozza.

After we heard NYC swing play (and saw their performance) at a big wedding last summer, we knew, even before being engaged that we wanted their vibe at our event.
