Here is a silly question:

I see alot of recipes uses white wine, but what kind of wine do you use? Where do you get it? I am new to the cooking thing.

I personally always use drinking wine, i dont buy cooking wine. I guess it depends what i have at home at the moment lol. I do notice a difference though depending on the type of white whine i use. But some recipes will specifically say a dry white wine or tell you exactly what type. When I use pinot grigio in a meal i like it better. One time i just had some white bottle of wine in the house so used that and it was ok but not as good as when i use pinot grigio.

One time DH got so mad at me when he caught me using his white wine that is a little pricey. But oh well, less for him to drink

yeah i use any pinot grigio i will have in the house. But if i dont have it then yeah i will use a different white wine. I used dh's santa margherita before and he doesnt like it but i still do it lol, this isnt a pinot though
