i am confident that the only cheesey cheese happening @ my wedding will be whatever is in the food-
i kind of like the garter thing- i love my legs and shoes- and i would love to show them off lmao!
thank g*d my dj DOES NOT play that cheese music.
one thing that i dont have control over is the smokers that will be going in and out. that 2 me is sooo lame. leavin the party 2 smoke ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh-then the dancefloor is empty
THe only cheesy thing will be the FETA
i love fetaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
I now wonder if i'll have that @ my place? :
There are some halls that offer greek stations, with ouzo, feta, greeks things.....
yea my RH has a greek station...gotta do this lol...
Tiki are you NOT bringing your own OUZO?
My Rh has a greek station too and having it. I will stick a few mini ouzos in my bag just in case they run out, hahahh
LOL....Fh's dad is having some Raki (sp? )shipped here from greece and he will be funneling it down everyones throat lol....

Probably bouquet, but NO garter. It would be totally inappropriate and weird with the average age of the guests, lol.
Absolutely no cake smashing either.

I kinda hate when the single guy catches the garter and puts it on the girl that caught the bok, sometimes its 5 year olds that catch the boks, lolol.

NO cake shoving...I'm paying too much money for my makeup for it to be ruined with cake.

That’s exactly why I’m not doing it, lol. I have a BM who is 15 and I know she’s going to be all over that bo-k.

u know what, i thought i wouldnt want to do the bok and garter toss but i went to a wedding last week, and they did it, and it was sooo hysterical, i never laughed so hard in my entire life. I guess it depends on the individuals because some people can make it really fun!
I agree, we weren't going to do them either. But, we've been reconsidering.

I don't want to do BoK & Garter toss. FH disagrees. We shall see what the outcome is. I think maybe I am going to 'forget' my toss BoK.

Macarena, Electric Slide & Chicken Dance, Dollar Dance, bo-k toss, garter or the public cutting of the cake, just personal preference! Oh and absolutely no give aways from the dj...it's all just personal preference.

No food or music ???
I'm just being dramatic.
I dunno... I was all about cutting out EVERYTHING (group dances, etc.). But I realized that my guests will probably want to dance to those songs, and I feel bad not letting them request those songs.
Sometimes I think when people cut toooo much out from the traditional wedding you take an element of fun out of them. But that's just me.
My new plan is to not have my DJ play those songs (especially the paradise/dashboard song by Meatloaf - thats a 100% noooooooo no matter what), but if my guests request them I'll tell the DJ to allow all requests.
I feel bad that my guests are giving us a gift and they won't get to hear a song that they might like/want to dance to...
