What color should I paint my kitchen. The cabinets will be like the ones in this picture (no island). I was thinking chocolate. I hate the color yellow. The granite is also like the one in the picture.

i think a lighter cocoa color would look excellent
depending on how much light is in the room, you can do a lighter maroon color. Also consider with your layout doing one wall one color and an opposing or meeting wall a different color. Saw this in a house with a warm brown (similar to the cocoa color suggested) and then a paler maroon.....god, they are beautiful though! :)
I think a chocolate would be really nice, or like janwinterbride said, a light cocoa.

LOVE those cabinets. I agree, I would stay in the brown /beige colors if you dont like yellow
