What details are u including to make your wedding unique?
I've been thinking about this since the day I got engaged. I definitely want a traditional wedding and since FH and I are 100% Italian we'll be incorporating many italian traditions in the wedding as well, but what details are u girls including in your wedding that will make it original? I'm stumped for ideas...all I have right now are personalized menus, monogram cake topper, personalized m&m's and save the dates. Are u girls doing anything that you haven't seen done at other weddings?

I am also gonna have a traditional (big fat) italian wedding (both me and FH are both 100% italian too )
besides the favor - i am going to make personalized choc bar wrappers - and put them next to everyone's plate.
FH is into wine-making - so hes gonna make extra wine next yr - and im gonna have every couple/family take a small bottle of wine on their way out of the wedding - and its gonna have a personalized label that im going to create (im a graphic designer so its easy for me to make) (if he doesnt make enough wine then i want to buy small bottle of wine) - on each bottle of wine i want to put a lotto ticket - a former LIW bride gave out lotto tix and i loved it!!!
- thats abt all the ideas i have for now ... but great thread idea!!

FH and I love to travel, so we are trying to incorporate that into our wedding. We are having leather luggage tags as our favors, our tables will be named after places we have traveled to and places we want to travel to, and we are using post cards as our seating cards.

My card box (copied from sweetheart 103005fallbride), my nieces and nephews being page bearers, sand ceremony, calypso band at cocktail hour. Probably more, but I can't think of em!
and... my cake topper! It is us rock climbing up the side of the cake since that is how we met!

We're having a card box with pictures of us and fam over the years along the sides. we are also doing faded pictures as the background for our place cards (I'm taking the small pic. frames and fading a picture of us, then writing the table # over it). Also making table #'s with our wedding colors- red white and black

I know a few girls here have done memory candles, but I have never seen them at any weddings I have went to. We are having a separate table for 4 people we lost right next to our table cards, and then the table will be brought upstairs to our reception area, where the candles will stay lit the whole reception with their pictures on the table as well.

We have not decided on to much yet but we are not having favors instead we will be making a donation to the cancer socity in my FH's mom's name. It's kinda our way of including her in our day.

We're using those personalized chocolate bar wrappers as our place cards. we saw it done at a wedding last week and I thought it was so cute and different. I found some companies that'll personalize every chocolate bar with the guest's name and then all I have to do is fill in the blank for Table #______. That's my latest idea...we'll see what else I come up with lol

The one thing that I can say NO ONE will ever have at their wedding is 'ME AS THE BRIDE' LOL ok that was lame
I think most parts of my wedding is original since it is a smaller wedding at first in Vermont and then a larger cocktail party a month or so after.

we're having song dedications in addition to the wedding song. I'm picking one for him and he's picking one for me.. something special.. we're going to keep it a secret from eachother so that way theres some surprise element for us...

that is so freaking cute!!! I love that!!!! can you fm me the company!!!
I am thinking of having an accordian player come in.. and surpise both of our parents.. with the italian tarantella songs.. and the polish polka songs.. I think it would be so much fun!!

we're having boxed invitations,
goody bags as favors (inc. full bottel of processco, bottle stopper, &other goodies)
& alot more, that I can't think of right now, my notebook's at home....
