What did you desperately want as a kid but your parents never got it for you?

I SOOOO wanted one of those miniature Pac Man arcade games. I also wanted Atari.

I wanted the Snoopy snow cone machine.

And a puppy (but now I have one so neener neener mom and dad! )

I know this sounds stupid, but, I always wanted a Globe!! My mother never saw the need in it and NOW she said she will buy me one-lol!! I said no, I only want a really expensive one now and I have no place for it-lol!!

I wasn't really a 'kid', but when I got my license I was dying for a Firebird or Camaro - like a friend of mine had.

my dad said 'no way jose!'

but, I don't regret it at all. I really beat up my first car.

I finally got a pair a couple years ago. My mother didn't want me to have them because she feared that I would break my leg. Then I saw a pair in Macy's and decided that I was now financially able to pay for my own broken leg. I was silently sticking my tongue out at my mom as I paid for them.

Walking in them was misery.

I wanted one of those dolls that cried and you could feed it real baby food and then it wet itself but my mom told me that they get moldy and wouldn't get me one!

Looking back I can understand her decision!

I wanted one of those too! Baby alive...

I also wanted a horse, which I never even asked for, because I knew it was impossible, but I wanted to go to a horseback riding summer camp and didn't get to go. I think my mom felt worse not being able to send me than I did.

YES, I forgot about those too!! My mom would NEVER let me get them!! Now that I can, I have NO clue what in my closet I would wear them with-lol!!

Another horselover here. I always asked for one and never got one. I was allowed to take riding lessons, but never had my own horse. I even tried to lease a horse, but that was too expensive too.

DH told me that when he finishes his MBA and gets the type of job he is hoping for, he will buy me a horse

The catskill game farm thing is SOOO funny! Its the only place we ever went to, year after year. Can you imagine that we may have been there at the same time?!? So odd! LOL

I always wanted a sit and spin but my mom always said they spun your brain around in your head LMAO

Then I always wanted a little bake oven but my mom always said i would burn myself.

I wanted the snoopy snow cone machine and one year my dad finally bought it for me and I think I used it like twice. Great thread!

When I was 4 I begged for a baby sister...and I got one...so since that worked I thought that when I begged for a baby brother when I was 5 that it might actually get one....Im still waiting...its not too late.

I had the Snoopy Sno Cone Machine and it was AWESOME!!!

I wanted a hammock because we had these 2 trees in our backyard that were perfect for one! I also desperately wanted big floppy hats which is just odd, but I was 8 so....

I always wanted a Power Wheels!!

Is that weird? I've always been into cars so.

My nephew has one and if I kneel on the seat and position my hands on the back spreading out my weight I get it to go. The plastic tires kind of slip on the tile floor but I've got it down to a science. Up until the point that I ran over my own hand!!!

I'll stick to big people transportation now.

I loved my Snoopy Snow Cone Machine. I didn't get to use it much thou. Once the little squeeze bottle snowman that sat on the font ran out of 'fruit' juice that was it.

A couple years ago I found one in a friend Closet.

We made Snoopy Snow Cone daiquiris!!!!
