What did you desperately want as a kid but your parents never got it for you?

I SOOOO wanted one of those miniature Pac Man arcade games. I also wanted Atari.

I wanted the Snoopy snow cone machine.

And a puppy (but now I have one so neener neener mom and dad! )

Snoopy Snow Cone was the best EVER! I wanted a kitten and my dad lied and said he was allergic so we couldn't get one. We finally did when I was 13 but every year growing up, all I wanted for my bday or xmas was a kitten.

My own room

I am a twin...and shared a room with my sister until we were about 17 we got our own rooms....there were some pretty nasty fights in that room over the closet space, mirror, clothes, etc.

When I was four we moved from Tampa to Louisville, KY. I asked my mom if we could get a horse. She said yes. Well, I lived in Louisville from 4-12 and never got a horse. We left Louisville for Maryville, TN. and I again asked my mom if I could get a horse. She again answered yes. Well, I am 31 years old and I never had a horse. Whenever my mom asks me why I am not doing more with my life I tell her I would be, but I never got that darn horse and it permanently ruined me for life.

Dance lessons... I begged and begged but to no avail...that could explan my guilty pleasure of watching dance competitions...

A Snuggles teddy bear (like on the commercials). My best friend had one so for Christmas I asked for a BIG one, a medium size one and a little one - I didn't get any

I wanted to take gymnastics and also acting classes. But I got stuck with piano lessons for TEN friggin' years!

i never realized it - but I was pretty spoiled...not only did I get everything I wanted - but I got everything my sister wanted too
no wonder she hated me.....

I really, REALLY wanted to go to a performing arts high school. But my mom wouldn't let me go because (1) it was too far (Manhattan) and (2) she said there was 'no future in it.'

I wanted one of those dolls that cried and you could feed it real baby food and then it wet itself but my mom told me that they get moldy and wouldn't get me one!

Looking back I can understand her decision!
