I have to agree. The last thing you want to do is get into a disagreement with your MOH. If it was someone else, I'd call and let them know, they couldn't bring someone, but I think MOHs should get a little special treatment.

I have to agree. The last thing you want to do is get into a disagreement with your MOH. If it was someone else, I'd call and let them know, they couldn't bring someone, but I think MOHs should get a little special treatment.


I agree with them. Your bridal party should be allowed to bring guests.

Let's forget for a second that this is your MOH - did you write 'and Guest' on the envelope? If not, for her to assume she can bring someone is wrong, BUT I am a firm believer in inviting everyone in your BP with a guest (actually I'm a firm believer in inviting anyone over 21 with a guest, but that's just me) so I would let it go.

I feel the same way. I invited all single people with a guest and counted my guest list accordingly. I have a secondary guest list for the fallout. I hated to be invited alone to any events and felt better when I was given the option to bring a guest.

No I just address it to her


I am not sure what you want to do but I don't know how you can tell her not to bring a guest.

I addressed all my invite to the single people with a guest.

This is exactly why I nixed that 'Number of attending __' on the RSVP! I'd have a slew of families coming then!
