1. you cant stand!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cause i really cant stand her for many reasons 2. fh and her had a 'thing' years ago when they were like 16 and 19 (before i was ever in the picture) it was a kid thing, so its not a big deal 3. who continues to flirts with fh EVEN in front of me, but i hear all the time, 'this is just the way she is'
there was a situation at a BBQ where she was flirting in with fh SOOO MUCH, it just bothers me, FH gets away from her, and doesnt really let it happen but she still tries, i know, its pathetic, BUT they are still 'friends' they have similiar friends, is the sister of his best friend, and groomsman, after this incident I swore to fh that she will no longer be invited to parties/functions at our home, etc...because she is disrespectful he agreed !!!!
but, when we were doing out invite list he said i really feel bad not inviting H***** .... i looked at him, rolled my eyes and didnt say anything, we moved on! but i know it is going to come up again and i need to give him a definite answer, he is basically going to respect whatever i want him to do, but i want to do the right thing your opinions!

Re: what do you think? fh invite ??long
Okay, girls like that just irritate me, but she is the sister of who is a groomsmen in the BP and they have been friends since they were kids?
Normally, I would say no way, but if you could tolerate her for one evening (you'll probably won't even notice her) I would just suck it up and invite her. Besides, you can glow knowing that you are his wife.
She may be childish for flirting with him so much, but she's the one who will look pathetic, not you. Good luck!
PS - You would definitely be the bigger person here, and DH would owe you a nice back rub for this one!

I say dont't invite her. NOT becaue you dont want her around, but more becasue she is disrespectful to you and your relationship with FH when she flirts with him. Do you really want someone at your wedding who is not truly there to see you marry the man of your dreams?? I say 'NO'

While I agree with this, I think there will be nothing your FH will be able to concentrate on but you. You in the white dress! You may want to turn the tables on yoru FH and ask him how he would feel if it were the opposite way around.

Re: what do you think? fh invite ??long
I have a similiar situation in which FH wants to invite a girl who he dated at one point & who is REALLY jealous of our relationship! She tried many times in the beginning to break us up!
At first I didn't want her at my wedding...But then my MOH made me think...My wedding is 'OUR DAY'!!!! I am the one standing at the altar & not her! I know it is childish to think that way but if you can tolerate her for one day, I say do it! Especially if FH wants her there, you can't really turn him down...It is his day too!

I understand what all the ladies on here are saying, but it is definetely easier said than done. Honestly, I can see this girl who completely disrepects your relationship now, acting stupid (for a lack of a better word) at your wedding.
Quite honestly, it would just bother me knowing someone whom I truly don't like and can't stand was at my wedding... it's not like she would be there being happy for you two...
This is definetely tough but I don't think I would invite her. I would also check with the best friend if you choose not to invite her because you don't want to cause tension between your FH and his friend by not inviting his sister.... JMO

Re: what do you think? fh invite ??long
After posting I did have a couple of questions that I decided would affect my decision...
1) Someone mentioned they have been friends since they were kids, but I didn't see that in your original post... saw you wrote it was 'a kid thing.' Have they been long long time friends?
2) And this similar friends situation, is it something like a whole group of friends are friends and she would noticeably stick out as the only one not invited?
Just wondering.... because I feel that maybe if you answer was yes to just one of these it would change my decision....

Do NOT invite her, you are going to be stressed enough and even worse if she is there, I do not think its right that your FH says to invite her. Stick to your gun!

they were not childhood friends, BUT they have been friends for a while... since they were teenagers
she is 'part of their group' the only female mind you and a few years younger too she is part of the group since she is the sister of one of the guys and i guess has just always been around... i guess she would stick out as not being invited...

Re: what do you think? fh invite ??long
Even though she won't have the chance to get close to FH at the wedding, I still wouldn't invite the b****.
My rule: if you have been 'involved' in some with way with the bride or the groom, you don't get to come to the wedding.

Not childhood friends, and she's really only part of the group because she is the younger sister of one of the guys... NO, I wouldn't invite her.
