What has been the most stressful in your planning process?
Just wondering..
For me it has been choosing music and the invitation list.

I know - I mean, shouldn't family come to your wedding??? I travelled all over NY and MA, oh and CT for their damn weddings and they can't come to mine.

Ugh..tell me about it..I totally feel your pain. My rsvp date was yesterday and I'm still waiting on SO many responses and I'm getting really p*ssed off.

Our wedding will be more friends than family now, which is hurtful, but what I can I do. Invite more friends?

I think the most stressful part of the wedding planning process is dealing with unsupportive and judgemental people who feel it's their duty to let you know how things should be done.
Especially those who are in your bridal party and also part of the family too! *Grrr!* :P

The last 2 weeks were sooo stressful tying up loose ends was a PIA but it got done some how!

Yes they can!!! I'm almost to the point that I'll give it back to them when there day comes - whether it's a wedding or a family thing!

The dress... tried on the sample again (ordered it in the same size) and it does not zip. Need to lose a few pounds. (about 10 or so). Also... veil. The manufacturer went out of business. Now I am going to buy the sample.

I can't even narrow it down! Here's a synopsis:
- Upon hearing I'm engaged, my mom pauses, says congrats and within two minutes starts talking about how much her feet hurt. - Both parents hate my ring. Later they admit, 'It's not as bad as we originally thought.' And they say it in front of the fiance!!! - My FH and parents fight over who will pay for the wedding. Each wants to. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine anyone would fight over that - My fiance flips b/c he thinks my mom is controlling everything. Says it's not his wedding; it'll just be a big party he'll enjoy. - I never got the 'this is the one' feeling with my dress. The dress I really liked apparently wasn't as flattering as others and the one I finally chose was 'too simple' according to my mom. So now I'm constantly paranoid that my dress stinks. - FH wants a DJ, family wants band. FH agrees to look at bands. Hates the one I like, refuses to see any more, but books one we saw at a friend's wedding. Great but I would have liked to look at more.
I need to stop here. If I think about it anymore I might call off the whole thing! On the bright side, I've gotten so fed up with everyone that I decided from now on I'm going to focus on what I want and try to ignore everyone else

seriously---i WISH i had this problem. just give me the excess moolah that is left over when they dish out cash for yours!
