What has your FH actually done in the wedding process?
FH is involved in the sense that he cuts the checks and helps make the decisions but basically I do ALL the work.
Originally I handed off invitation, honeymoon, transportation, and entertainment to him but it turns out that I am doing all of that as well.

he helped picked out the food the hall the invites music he helped with all diy projects basicly everything, the only thing he didnt help in was stuffing and addressing the invites... hes a good guy

i make all the appointments, he comes with me to them and helps me make a decision.. for the e-party i DIY the invitations, centerpieces (72 tissue paper roses, with help from mom) and thank you cards!! i do ALL the research and just tell him about whatever i find... i know he would help me if i asked him but we dont live together so he's not around when im making my crazy DIY's anyway...
when you say handed off.. that means he has to do it all himself,, i assume... instead of having him do those things all himself and you haveing your own things to do, maybe try to do a little part of everything together??

He THINKS he is a part of every process.
If he had it his way, he would postpone wedding planning until football season is over. haha

I do all the organizing (making appointments, booking, etc) but he has been involved in making the decision for everything so far.

actually he has done alot....design STD...input for decisions...etc..

I do everything and he just writes and checks and drives me whenever we need to visit the vendors. :)
Best to do everything yourself if you want it done, men are, in general, not as interested in the wedding planning and will pass off any work to you unless they are passionate about it.
The less you ask him to do, the less chance for conflicts. :D

FH and I have done all of our wedding preparation together, the RC, all of our vendors. You name it, he's been a big part of all the planning for our big day.

I make fun of DH by saying that if I gave him full charge of the wedding 2 weeks before, he would be sunk!!!! He had no idea about anything but the band, he didn't even come to the tasting!!!!!

He has written all the checks and designed / printed our STD.
Otherwise I'm doing everything myself..I wouldn't tell him that though

He came with me to interview all the photographers, videographers, DJs, and limo companies. He has been to every bridal showcase, picked out the invites, and met with the final florist (but not any of the others).

His big project is the DJ & his party! He has been great so far....

After 13 months of doing it myself, I gave DH ONE simple task, research, plan and book our HM. 3 weeks later, guess who managed to do all of it in about 2 hours? ME.
Some guys are super involved and to that, I say congrats ladies! Many guys are not...mine was not.
His father wasn't either...admits to it and his mother even told me he wasn't...apples don't fall far from the tree.

All he does is come with me to the appointments, help me make a final decision on which vendor we liked the best, and pay half of everything.
I do pretty much everything else...all the research, emails, phone calls...and all the other stuff...but i think that's normal....right?
