What has your FH actually done in the wedding process?

FH is involved in the sense that he cuts the checks and helps make the decisions but basically I do ALL the work.
Originally I handed off invitation, honeymoon, transportation, and entertainment to him but it turns out that I am doing all of that as well.

mine has only done things when i've threatened to cancel the whole thing and/or leave him.
he knows i don't mean it, but he also knows that his cue to DO SOMETHING!!!!

everything so far. he has come to every vendor appt., come to several bridal shows and LIW events. We made the STD magnets and cards together.

I am lucky that my FH has been pretty helpful. He has met with a photographer (without me) will be in charge of the DJ & tuxes. I want control of everything else but if I ask him he will give an opinion.

Other than b!tch and moan...nothing. Well, he did go with me to the RH, DJ's and photographers and was a miserable PITA throughout everything, so it's best just to exclude him at this point, otherwise, he takes the fun out of it for me.

we haven't done much as of yet, but i'm pretty sure he's gonna be involved in almost everything (he's that kinda person). i may be making most of the diy's though, but he'll def. have a final say in what they look like.

I thought my FH wouldn't get involved but I'm happy that he's been really helpful and has done as much work as me. He's been the one to call and make the appointments and is actually excited about looking at halls. He was even sad when thinking of how he's not going to be involved in planning this summer while studying for the bar.

He came to most of our vendor meetings with me (RH, Photog, various florists), he's had some input, and his sole responsibility has been the honeymoon. He's coming with me to the Bridal Extravaganza on Sunday. We also registered together and almost killed each other at the first store we registered at, but that's okay, we got over it!
He's been pretty involved.

so far he has proposed...I have done all the research on the vendors he did come with me though (not to all the flower vendors) and he wants to know what is going on and wants to help make the decisions...
But we are working on the STD's and it was like pulling teeth for him to organize his list & get me the addresses ~ I did the labels and printing and since I am only doing a couple at a time I am stuffing as I am printing! Sooo we shall see...

FH is involved by saying, 'how much will it cost?'
I should cut him some slack. He has come with me to the major vendor meetings and definitely gives input when it comes to picking between the last 2-3 choices.

I was the one who wanted the 'big' wedding with all the fanfare, so I had no problem doing MOST of the work. I had my mom work on a lot of the DIY projects with me so I never felt like I was all on my own for things.
As for DH, I asked him to take care of the HM and he did everything for that. He made the final decision on a lot of things with me and I put him in charge of choosing our DJ. Of course he also picked out the tuxes, helped shop for our w-rings, bought the GM gifts, met with our officiant, and went through our RSVPs with me. But the most important thing that he did was love and support me throughout it all, he kept telling me how proud he was of me for what I was doing and that was all I needed. The day of our wedding he said everything was amazing and couldn't get over what I had done to make our day really special, that made it all worth it!!!!
