What is the best flavor wedding cake you ever had?

just wondering...

my family and friends keep telling me I have a lot to live up to from the Napolean cake we had at our Engagement Party... it was PHENOMENAL. I want to make sure our wedding cake is awesome. Just wondering what some WOW cakes are for you girls out there.

Hey... I wonder if that bakery in the Bronx can make a Napolean Grooms cake with a Yankee theme... ya think?

We had banana cream cake and was absolutely DELICIOUS, the best wedding cake I ever had

Carrot with cream cheese frosting...that was so good!

Same here it was at Russo's on the Bay and it was sooo good!!!

We had chocolate devil's food cake with oreo and chocolate pudding filling. Everyone went crazy over it.

We just had a cake that was 'Tuscan sponge cake' with Marscapone cheese filling....Yum!

my favorite has always been white with rasp filling and buttercream frosting.

but i have been dying to try a white cake with a layer of blood orange filling, a layer of rasp filling, and a layer of lime filling that i seen in a magazine, it sounds absolutely delish!!!

We had a yellow cake with chocolate mousse and rasberry mousse and everyone was raving about how good it was.

The best I had was a choc. chip. pound cake with buttercream. I think the was also a section with mocha. It was soooooo good and I am not a wedding cake person.

I agree! I didn't think it would wow me - but it is the only cake I tried that I remember for being soo yummy

We had devils food with chocolate chip chocolate mousse filling...iced in buttercream, it was fantastic. My favorite wedding cakes are always chocolate.

we had chocolate with some sort of raspberry filling and it was to die for!! From black forrest bakery.

Yummy! Thats what my cake was! I wish I had a chance to eat the whole piece

No cake really stands out in particular except the ones that have buttercream icing (it's my favorite )

I was thinking that too. but my alltime favorite is not exactly a wedding cake But whenever I have to get a cake for an event like a babyshower, birthday etc I would get it form Costcos. Their strawberry creamcheese filling or whatever its called is excellent.
