What is the 'grossest' food you eat?

There are some foods that people just perceive to be gross and thing others that eat them are gross for eating them.

What food(s) do you eat that many people perceive as gross?

What foods do YOU think are gross?

I eat liverwurst, caponata and also love blue cheese and blue cheese dressing (of course I do not eat them together . . .)

Foods that I think are gross are sushi, raw clams/oysters, and any 'tartare' dish (any raw form of meat or fish grosses me out . . .)

not so much eat,,,but I think all condiments are gross,,especially MUSTARD!!!!!!!!

Blue Cheese,,,yucky

What I love that other may think is gross??

I loooove chunks of sauteed garlic!!!!!!!!!!!!!

there is a restaurnt in westchester that roasts garlic & serves the whole thing with the bread basket. It s makes a great spread! mmmmmmmmm

I eat tripe.

my family loves tripe..especially my dad
So much that there will be a 'tripe' station at my Cocktail Hour!!!!!!!

I eat bananas with lemon, apples with salt and everytime I eat soup especially chicken I put lemon.

I think that sushi is gross too. but besides that I like every type of seafood.

I love raw clams and when I was little, we used to eat raw hamburger meat. (That was long before Mad Cow or things like it.

I can even look at eggs and ketchup, let alone eat it. Liver is another one

I eat hearts of palm, DH says they smell like camel feet, how he knows what that smells like is beyond me. I put them in salad, they dont smell to me though.

I love gorgonzola cheese...mmm...FH thinks I'm crazy for even putting it in my mouth

I don't like sushi or any chewy/slimey kind of food like scallops or oysters...basically fish...blah

ok i answered my own question. I googled 'tripe' and found it is the lining of a 'ruminant's' stomach (cow etc).

sorry..i know people like it...i don't know why though the thought makes me queasy.

Then again...I think its gross when people put any kind of yellow cheese on pasta with tomato sauce..gross!!

Yes. Cow's stomach.

I eat ANYTHING...So maybe some people think some things are gross. But that was the best I could think of...

really? wow. I didnt' think msot halls woudl even make that.

my unle was HUGe & went to a nutrionist who asked him his 3 favorite & least favorite foods to take into accoutn when she helped him prepare ameal plan. He LOVES food. Couldn't come up with anything he didn't like. . .except tripe! And then my grandmother says. . oh that's because you never had it the way my mother made it. . . crazy Italians!

I think I have a hard time eating things that are in a recognizable form of what they were before- does that make sense?

Tripe is cow stomach. It smells like dirty socks when you cook it - blech!

I refuse to eat calimari. Even the rings.
And I won't eat fish if it's served with the head on it.
Oh and fried eggs with runny whites make me puke. My eggs have to be fully cooked.

Gross things that I eat - not much! Although my dad thinks it's gross that I put mayo on my salami sandwich

I knew i wasnt alone!! DH tells me all the time there is not another human that eats that. I love them though, sometimes i'll sprinkle grated cheese on them if I dont wanna have a salad with it. lol

Well, now you can tell him you're not alone!!! I can eat them right out of the jar...I don't even need the rest of the salad!
