There are some foods that people just perceive to be gross and thing others that eat them are gross for eating them.
What food(s) do you eat that many people perceive as gross?
What foods do YOU think are gross?
I eat liverwurst, caponata and also love blue cheese and blue cheese dressing (of course I do not eat them together . . .)
Foods that I think are gross are sushi, raw clams/oysters, and any 'tartare' dish (any raw form of meat or fish grosses me out . . .)

i have this meal where i make pork chops with mashed potatoes, sauerkraut and applesauce and mix it all into one big gross mess and eat it all together.....my family thinks it's gross but it's great
i think sushi is gross - and octopus

I eat tofu and TVP, a lot of people think that's gross. I also eat sushi. There's really nothing gross about most sushi, rice and vegetables! I won't eat sashimi though!
gross food? well, some people put cheddar cheese on apple pie...

For some reason (and this is a really common thing), I can't stand Eggs and ketchup. I just can't do it and think it's gross!!

I eat tongue. When I was a kid, I didn't realize that it actually was a cow's tongue, and once I learned, I liked it too much to give it up! I tried escargot once and really liked them, but then became more kosher, so I can't eat them anymore.
I find sushi gross when it's not in a roll, but just raw fish..or is that sashimi? I also think that caviar is gross. There are also things like cheeseburgers, which I never ate growing up, so the idea of it is kind of nauseating to me.

My mom makes that and whenever she is cooking it, it literally smells like a s s when you walk in the house..

when it's prepared correctly.. escargot is SOOOO good.
My husband eats alot of weird things... he has a very good friend who is Chinese and my DH now eats all of these weird Chinese delicacies. I ask him not to tell me what they are

I love liverwurst (FH won't even look at me when I eat it!) and I love raw oysters, clams, etc., which some people find offensive.
I used to hate when my mother made liver! Gross!!!

I can't eat eggs w/o ketchup!! DH can't STAND to be in the same room as me when I eat eggs. He goes nuts!

Black pudding ( blood sausage) is probably the grossest thing I eat & it is not my favorite or ona regular babsis.
My dad gets it a CHirstams & I have been eatign since I was ittle & didn't know what it was. the normal food I think is gross is
melon calamari veal oysters clams sushi sashimi ( but I love fish, shrimp, & scallops)
Eta- soy meats turkey burgers ( blech )

Well I am such a picky picky eater, that most of eveything posted on this thread I think is HIGHLY GROSS (but that's just me, I'm a very simple eater and love junk food more than 'real' food)
I will not eat any fish, let alone sushi/sashimi... eggs/ketchup () .. most deli meats () ..
But I also hate steak and most red meat, so I'm just a weirdo I guess ...
Though I do love blue cheese and I do LOOOVE TOFU (as long as its firm) .. most people gag when they see me eating tofu, but its really quite delicious when you eat it with a very flavorful sauce, etc.
