besides the proposal. these stand out .....

~when i was student teaching, i was soooo miserable. so he posted a huge sign on my exit of the grand central that said 'have a good day. i love you! and our names'. i was so surprised when i drove by it and it had me beaming all day!

~ and when i was in new orleans for my bach. party he sent a beautiful bo-k to my hotel room with the sweetest card.

dh is sooo much more romatic then i am he puts me to shame.

Hard to say...he does silly sweet things all the time....like when I was admitted to the hospital, and he cut out of work just to bring me some water (I wasn't allowed to eat) and a stuffed animal.

He still opens doors for me, takes care of me when I'm sick (which is more often the past year), and anytime our wedding song comes on, he motions for me to get up and dance with him.

ETA: Taking every last hair and bobby pin out of my head after my hair trial last night!! Maybe not romantic by some standards, but for me it was truly sweet!!

My proposal! and Valentines Day last year
We went upstate for the weekend in May just to get away and rented a house. On Saturday morning we went to the Katerskill Falls (Hanes Falls) when i went to the edge there was a HUGE sign at the bottom saying 'marry me Jen' when I turned around he was on one knee...the best part was he went to my grandfather to ask his permission to marry me
I had class till 9:30 that night so when I got home there was a candle lit lobster dinner waiting for me with 2 dozen roses! it brightened me day up right away!

There really is so much stuff he does for me that's romantic, especially the little things....but the one story that stands out in my head right now is...

A few years ago I went to California on business and was flying home on the redeye. I decided to go to his place to 'work from home' for the day...a little more quiet than my house. Anyway, when the taxi dropped me off at his place (30 min earlier than expected), I smelled something yummy...he told me to lay on the couch and relax.... A few minutes later I opened my eyes to see him with fresh baked muffins, my favorite juice and a single rose on a tray in front of me....and a trail of rose petals leading into the bathroom where a hot bath was waiting for me filled with rose petals too.

He's so good to me!

I had moved to Rome, Italy right after I met FH. (Darn timing)
During Thanksgiving I became really homesick.
He arranged for us to have a Saturday Night Date in London.
I flew in from Rome, which was only a two hour flight, but he was coming from NY and there was a snow storm so he was delayed 12 hours.
Because of the time difference, I was in London a whole day by myself in the hotel waiting for him.
When he finally arrived, he had me switch rooms and he had the new hotel decorated with flowers and champagne, then we went to a great dinner and just had an amazing time.
We had to leave the next day, but when I got back to Rome, there was a dozen roses waiting for me from him.

I guess it sounds silly but during the big blackout of 2003, when we were first dating, he called me like eleven times to make sure I was okay. . . it was just so sweet. . .

he tries to make me pancakes and he always burns them. its cute.

My FH forgot to buy me a birthday card one year.. He realized that it was too late, so he heard me walking in the house, ran in the bathroom and drew me a card with little stick figures (me & him) with hearts. It was the most cutest thing I have ever seen. This poor guy cant draw!!

My FH got me a glass of juice the other day. It was the sweetest thing b/c my DH filled up the glass with ice all the way. When I began to drink the juice all the ice hit my nose and the cold feeling reminded me of being a kid and learning to drink out of a cup.

I felt so warm and cozy inside even though my nose was freezing

My guy is so romantic. When we lived apart he drove to NJ from PA every Wednesday for date night. He also packs my lunch every day and leaves me notes, cards and flowers everywhere. I can't wait to be his wife!

FI does a lot of sweet things for me but he's not the most verbally romantic guy so when he proposed and said things that blew me away and had tears in his eyes - yep, that was the most romantic!

I was working at the renaissance faire and my legs got really chapped (I'm sure some you girls know what thats like when you walk around in a dress all day OUCH!) I couldn't put my legs together, literally. My FH picked me up and carried me all the way to the campsite. He told me, hes my knight and I'm his princess in leather. LMAO. I love him!

he isn't the most romantic- but he trys

if he can't sleep - he writes me little notes and puts them on the bathroom mirrow - so if I get up- I see them- I save them all

he would kill me for posting this

and someone mentioned the black out- he lived in suffolk and I lived in Manhattan- he drove all the way to the city to get me and take me back- he had to wait to get gas - it took him hours- so cute

My FH is a big softie and by far the sweetest, most thoughtful, most romantic guy I have ever dated. The most romantic thing he has done so far is defintely when he proposed to me!!

Well aside from the proposal, I would say when he threw me the all time absolute best
Surprise 30th birthday pary ever!!!

But then again he is so romantic everyday, he does the sweetest little things all the time. I sometimes can't beleive how lucky I am...

I don't know if I beleive that there is only one right person for us out there but he is the closest thing to a perfect match for me that I can ever imagine....okay now I'm feeling all lovey dovey

It is scary how romantic my FH is... everyday he says or does something so romantic that I fall in love with him all over again... He is so wonderful - I am a lucky girl!!!
