im really just wondering? i find it a little presumptuous to assume that people will cry at my wedding- or that my wedding will be that touching that people will cry what is your take on cry packs?

I felt the same way you do, Melissa. I ordered them because I thought they were cute and inexpensive, not because I assumed people would cry. I also figured that since I was getting married in the winter, tissues always come in handy in church. I was nervous because I didn't want people to think I was assuming anything.

I do not get it at all!!!! If someone handed me a crypack I would not know what to make of it. I agree that I think its a little presumptuous. I just dont think most people would 'get it'

Well.. I always cry at weddings.. no matter who it is, so they would be quite useful for me

trick is, place them by the entrance of the church or whatever and if person feels like might need one, they take one, if they dont want one, they dont have too, nothing presumptuous about that!
Plus what if someone has to sneeze?!

I agree that it is presumptuous to assume people will cry. However, I found out about cry packs on LIW and thought they were really cute and inexpensive so I made 50 of them. If I had to put a price on them, I'd say .25 cents each to make and that includes buying the paper which we already had left over from programs
They will be at the back of the ceremony so people can pick them up on their own. I am NOT having them placed on the chairs.

I think they are cute...more of a keepsake in my opnion...I am undecided about whether or not to do them
I am one who always cries at weddings....I cry during A Wedding Story...Instyle Celebrity Weddings etc,......but since I know I cry I always bring me own tissues!

I was considering doing them but FH thinks they are stupid. But now that I see so many people would think they are presumptuous (and in FH's family, SOMEONE is bound to be offended) maybe I'll hold off on doing them.

I cry during wedding story too and at weddings lol ... I never heard of crypacks until I came on here though ... not sure if I am going to do them though ... that was an excellent question I wondered that too.... oh the diy pictures of your crypacks are soo cute!! I like them alot!!
