Me too. My nails and the skin around my fingers are so gross. It's so embarrasing

me too (biting and smoking). only difference is i (and DH) smoke about a pack a day

pick my fingers til they bleed
smoke
bite my nails...

and do everything else nerve related. whaa!

I also bite my lips and inside my mouth.

I do this, too, especially when I am driving. My FH hates it. Before we were engaged he always used to say, no way I'm putting a ring on those fingers! Sometimes on long car rides I get into a picking/biting frenzy and then afterword I am all red and raw I feel like, OMG what have you done?! LOL Its so embarassing when I go for a manicure.

I complain a LOT. I've tried to stop, but I can't.

I also tend to bite my bottom lip, then it gets chapped, so I bite it more, and it's a whole vicious cycle...

My hands are always clean though... I'm always antibacterializing them.

I also bite and pick the skin on my pointer fingers and thumbs SOOO BAD they bleed!
FH gets so annoyed! It's such a nervous habit and I do it ALL the time...at school, in the car.....and I,too also bite my lips and sometimes pick at them, too!

I'd say being obessive. Not about just one thing.. just about anything I get a wild hair about. I just won't let go. One client said a nice letter to my boss (last job) saying 'I love the pit bull determination and endurance in her' about me!! I have a tendency not to let things go.
