what one registry item would you tell the rest of us to add?

what one registry item would you tell the rest of us to add? Where can you find it? How much is it? Why do you recommend it?
You should add: Krups Toaster Oven You can find it: BBB It costs: $199 (but you can take 20% off) I recommend it because: It's big, works really well, and you can BAKE things in it without needing to wait for it to preheat! I use this instead of my oven for anything small enough to fit in it -- it's the best thing ever. It also comes with these great tongs that are perfect for pulling out the rack because they have a small hook at the end.
Edit: I still need to add to our registry... so I'm going to take advantage of this thread

the weirdest thing we added, that I didn't want to add, was a cuisinart meat slicer.
My boss got it for us for xmas.

You should add: Cuisinart Griddler You can find it: BBB It costs: $129.99 I recommend it because: its greaaaaat! Ive used it almost everyday since my shower to make random stuff, pancakes, quesadillas, grill cheese, bacon, etc. It was our #1 item on our registry and when we got it we were ecstatic!
We have this on our registry, too. I hope I get it, it's my #1 fav!!!
we originally registered at Fortunoff and they had a guy out making grilled cheese on the Griddler.... and giving out free samples. that's when we put it on our registry what can i say, they make a great grilled cheese sandwich?
I love the fact that you can make almost anything on it. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks.... That and my 16 Quart sauce pot make me drool!
which one did you get? we made a giant thing of vegetable soup last week and squeezed it into the crock pot because our biggest pot wasn't nearly big enough. i registered for a 12 Q one from BBB's website but maybe we should go with 16?
Also, can someone please tell me what pots/pans are best? we have a middle of the road cuisinart set (from BBB) but I want 1-2 metal skillets (not non-stick) for sauteeing etc. no idea what brand to get.
i cook all the time andhave used ALOT of pots. all-clad is the best in my opinion. its the closest to professional quality.

FH wants to register for a chainsaw
I don't know whats with him and the stupid chainsaws..
I registered for an ice cream maker because I am an ice cream junkie
chainsaws come in handy, you never know where you might find a zombie.

I recommend it because: It makes impressive dishes with the tiniest effort. I've made homemade hummus, pesto, crab stuffing (for stuffed mushrooms), and everyone is always impressed, no one has to know how simple it was. It also makes one mean smoothie (alcohol optional)

You should add: Kitchen Aid Artisan Mixer You can find it at: Macy's It's costs: $399.99 (but is on sale for $299.99) I recommend it because: it is the hottest mixer in all the land!!!!!
since i discovered this, around 12 years of age i guess, i've ALWYAS said - 'I can't wait to get married for 2 reasons....1. to find my knight in shining armor and 2. to get a kitchenaid stand mixer!!!' i posted up on here that when i opened my registry i came back and tested it by adding the mixer. it was one of those 'holy snickerdoodles i'm getting married' moments. yes girls, i teared up when i put registered!!! not to mention i've bought at least 8 of them in my life for other brides. purely under the 'living vicariously through others ' category! :) :)
Are you my twin?!?! I've felt the same way since my grandmother bought one for my mom about 15 years ago!!!

So All-Clad is better than Calphalon? Also, if we have good pots/pans (the cuisinart set) is it worth registering for GREAT ones? I'm torn. I also don't know which to register for if we do.
Also, anyone register for the La Cruest (sp?) stuff? is that worth it?
We need to add some more stuff to our registry because we got A LOT of registry gifts for our e-party, I haven't had a shower yet and our OOT guests might want to give actual gifts instead of $$$. I don't want to add stuff we won't use, but especially since BBB items are returnable we want to keep an open mind and add things we wouldn't normally buy ourselves but might want down the road.

I know color alone shouldn't make me add them to our registry, but what makes them special/different from other things? what do you use them for? I'm tempted to add 1-2 pieces..

You should add: Braun Tassimo You can find it: BBB, Lnens and things, Bloomies, Macys, etc. It costs: $170 (but you can take 20% off) I recommend it because: It is great!!! It makes lattes, cappacinos, chai lattes, coffee, tea. I looove mine!!!
also
You should add: Cuisinart Wine fridge You can find it: Bloomies, william sonoma, crate and barrell (I think), Macys It costs: $175 I recommend it because: Its not too big, but big enough for 11 bottles of wine. Its a great first time wine fridge! I love mine!!!

You should add: Dyson All Floors Vaccuum You can find it at: BBB, Macys, ETC. It costs: $399 I recommend it because: It is the best vaccuum I have ever used. Especially for you pet owners. It ***** up dog hair incredibly. It is light and easy to use and empty. By far my favorite thing I registered for
I have a dyson and it really is great!!! I could see the difference in my rugs after the first time I used it!!

My mother uses hers all the time. It cooks food faster because of the heat retention.

I didn't register for just one brand of cookware. I got a lil of all clad, calphlon, and le cruset. In my opinion, all three are equally great!

Here's a tip: BBB also carries this and their everyday price is $299.99, plus you can use a 20% off coupon to bring the price to $239.99
I didn't like how I was treated at BBB. I switched my entire registry to Macy's. I think the one for $299.99 everyday is a different mixer.
I can't speak for the quality of service at BBB since everyone's experience is different, but it's the EXACT same item at both places except cheaper at BBB. Check out the Kitchen Aid Artisan Mixer at BBB and compare the Model # KSM150PS is the same at both places.
Also, the tip was meant for others who have not yet registered or want to add the item at BBB.

Re: what one registry item would you tell the rest of us to add?
If you are getting a Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer, I'd recommend the Cook For the Cure one - $50 gets donated to the Susan G. Komen breast cancer foundation. You can get them at Macy's and Kohl's and probably elsewhere. I cannot WAIT to get one - I've wanted one FOREVER and ever!!!! That is my recommendation!
I'm thinking of changing my George Foreman to the Cuisinart Griddle!! You all make it sound fab!
