I posted this in the article, but I know a lot of you might not read the article and the question might be lost so tell us about some of the perks offered at your job or perks you wish your job offered. Of course being realistic now

I guess we feel the same about casual clothes, its all in our wardrobe, if we had to go out an get suits or wear suits everyday it could get costly

Wow, I feel really guilty now because my company offers almost all the same things as SAS (I just saw the other thread) and we all still complain!
We have doctors and dentists on site, a day care center, a cafeteria, counselors, massage/physical therapists, a free fitness center, good benefits with a pension and 401K that they match 3%, bonuses, an option to work from home, tuition reimbursement, flex time, 1/2 day Fridays during the summer.
But in reality, I don't use most of these things so they aren't 'perks' to me. I guess I should be more grateful!

Well I work for Disney (I do promotions/ marketing their magazines) I get to go to DisneyWorld and Land for Free, I get 35% off all merchandise and the catalog and store, 50% off any of the Disney hotels and the Disney Cruise. I love it!

The company is really good, it's the people who work here that make us complain - all the corporate politics BS!

All I get are transit checks. I just got them today and they went up to $100 a month. Which is perfect with this new freaking LIRR increase!

All major and minor Jewish Holidays off...
All Federal Holidays off...
Many midyear bonuses...
Guaranteed end of the bonus...
Tuition reimbursement...

Hmmm.... Perks...

I get a free pair of steel toe safety shoes and a lab coat, along with ear plugs and a hairnet when I have to go on the plant floor.

All the free bread & rolls I could hope to eat.

401K with some matching though that and the vesting could be better. Same with the medical - it's better than hubby's option, but the worst I've had in the past several years/jobs.

Fresh air and sunshine along with exercise opportunities when I have to go between plants, especially if I'm pushing a cart full of sample product.

All in all, it's not a lot, but I have a great boss and I anticipate opportunities as the company grows - and I love the short commute. They did give me 90 days in the corporate apt. when I relocated from out of state too.
