What reception halls did you look at while you were searching for 'The One'??

For us....

Westbury Manor, Crest Hollow, Sand Castle, Woodbury CC, Carlye on the Sound (form. Sail Harbor), Chateau La Mer, ...we looked at 9 and I can't remember the other ones

ETA....Riviera, Millerage

We looked at George Washington Manor, Swan Club, the Metropolitan, Chateau Briand, Woodbury Country Club, Fox Hollow, Chateau Le Mer, Manor East and Westbury Manor. There are others that I can't remember.....

I think I checked out 12...Swan Club, Sans Souci, Carltun on the Sound, Harrison House, Leonard's, Milleridge, Fox Hollow, The Carlyle, The Shore & Country Club (CT), Chateau Briand, hmm, I forget the others!

We only looked at the Sand Castle before we booked ours. We found ours on the first day we went looking.

Only other place we considered was Lands End in Sayville. Gorgeous but too far.

4. Jericho Terrace


It was love at first sight for me with Fox Hollow! I had tears in my eyes and goose bumps when I walked into our reception room

I didn't look anywhere else. FH went to USMMA and always wanted to get married there. Once I saw it, I did too!

Oh i forgot about the Harrision House...What was your input on it? did you girls like it?? wasnt' the pool area very pretty?? The room was a little oddly shaped though
