What Song..

What song are you choosing to dance with your dad? I am not sure about this one... I really like Frank Sinatra's song, The Summer Wind because I usually dance to this with my dad at weddings. I hope that some of you can provide me with some other ideas!! Thanks guys!! You are all the best!

Thats so funny, I was just thinking about this! All the songs ive been listening to are soooo cheezy!

And I want something different. My mom wants me to do a song about me being 'the baby' but I really dont think a father/daughter song needs to be literal.

I'd rather have a song that my dad and I love or that have a meaning to us!
But on the other hand, most of the songs are about lovers and strange lyrics and that would be weird!!

My dad wants to dance to a song by Keane so I was thinking of 'somewhere only we know' but I dont know if thats appropriate?

Wow! Thanks guys! I completely forgot about the song, the way you look tonight!!!! I danced to butterfly kisses with my dad at my Sweet 16!!!! It is a really sweet song!!

My dad and I are dancing to 'My Little Girl' by Tim McGraw. I get all teary-eyed every time I listen to it lol! But to be honest, if the Frank Sinatra song is what you and your dad always dance to, i would definitely go with that, it's something special between the two of you and that's what it's all about! Not to mention that song is beautiful.

My Dad and I are dancing to 'I Loved Her First' by Heartland.

I don't think its cheesy, but it is emotional and sweet.

if you always dance with your dad to the Summer wind, then I think you should pick that. Its nice to dance to something of significance.

I was actually thinking of - The Way you Look Tonight! It's so fun and upbeat with lovely lyrics.

I don't want people crying their eyes out at this- just me. And my Dad will love a chance to showcase his 'moves'

My childhood friend danced The way you look tonight with her DH as their first dance.

It was SO, SO nice! They were beaming throughout and laughing. She always identified with the Julia Robert's character in that movie...it was perfect

I love Sinatra. Fly Me To the Moon is the song I would have loved with DH but he thinks it's too fast.

'the way you look tonight' is AMAZING. there are 3 different versions that are great... frank sinatra obv. but there is a rod stewart version and a michale buble version. good luck!
