Unchained Melody. My Dad likes to tell me how he used to dance me around the living room to that song when I was a baby. It's always been our song.

We are dancing to You Lite Up My Life by Debbie Boone. I used to sing it around the house when I was little.

I think I am using To Sir With Love. I incorporated some of the lyrics in to a speech for my dad's wedding 5 years ago, so I thought it would be nice.

'you are so beautiful' (most likely)
He always sang that to me when i was a baby, so it has sentimental value.
But I'm still looking for other possibilities. I like the words of that 'song for my daughter' song.

Stephanie, the song you are using has the most beautiful lyrics! I truly do not think I could make it through that song without making a scene.... not a pretty sight I'd make!!

We'll start to Nina Bonita by Tomas De San Julian in spanish and then I'm going to surprise daddy by having the DJ swtich over to You'll be in my heart by Phil Collins. We both love that song.


ETS: Just by reading some of the lyrics, I can truly say that there won't be a dry eye during that dance.
