What to call a reader on a program?

Doing my programs and one of FHs friends is doing a reading (it's not a religous ceremony). He doesn't like just listing his friend as 'reader.'

Does anyone have any ideas of what else we might call his title?

Thanks!
Amy

Re: What to call a reader on a program?

How about identifing him as you or your husband friend that will read:..... Have what the 'reader' is reading printed in the program and put the line above on that page. Did I explain it right? I will have the same question, thanks for asking it.

Re: What to call a reader on a program?

Personally, I don't know what's wrong with just 'Reader' but he thinks it looks wierd. I think part of the problem is that one of my bridesmaids is actually doing the other reading, but I have her listed as Bridesmaid. Obviously, she is doing much more for me than just a reading.

Re: What to call a reader on a program?

We're going with just plain old 'Reader'. I've never seen anything else done.

I tried a thesaurus, but it was of no help.

Call him a 'prophet', that'll really freak your FI out.
