What to throw???

i recently read somewhere that the whole idea of the birdseed and rice being harmful is a falasy and does not hurt them at all.

yeah! I heard that too!! And for all this time I thought rice made birds stomachs explode!!

what about blowing bubbles?

eta: didn't think they stained... we did that for friend's beach wedding in FL, her pics are great.

I love the traditonal throwing of rice after the ceremony but my church will not allow it. They wont allow rose petals either, i guess because they dont want to have to clean up. Does anyone know of any party poppers that keep the streamers attatched to the popper after it shoots them out? Any other suggestions of what to throw besides bubbles? Thanks!

chances are your church won't let you throw anything at all.... we were told the reason is because people can slip on most of the things people want to throw... good luck.

I haven't even thought about this or asked my church what I would be allowed to do but maybe I will do bubbles if they don't allow a lot. I went to a wedding where they did bubbles and it was cute.

i was in ac moore yesterday and they have 24 packs of wedding bubbles for $5 they were onsale for $2.99 but i dont know if they are still running that sale. when i get the paper ill look and let you know!
