Birth Control Pills. It took me awhile to find one that reacted well with my body. I wound up on Lo-Estrin which is one of the low-estrogen ones now on the market. That's really been working for me.

me too! Best decision I ever made.
I am on it now, but considering getting an IUD after the wedding - we don';t want kids for 5 years, so I'm thinking we need some hard core preventative (Plus, $25 per month for BC adds up!)

Fh and I are on the condom and pull out method...its worked for 5 yrs now. well for us.

i got prego on birth control ....and I swear i didn't miss any pills....my sister and 2 cousins also got prego while on the pill....my doc thinks my family is strange

I am on Ortho Tri Cyclen birth Control Pills they work well with my body.
Plan on stop taking them after the wedding Fh and I want to start a family right away

I originally started out on Ortho Tri Cyclen, then about 2 years ago my gyno switched me to Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo. Apparently it produces less estrogen which is healthier for me in the long run. I can't complain, we've never had any scares and the pill doesn't make me feel like crap.

My niece is a BC baby too. My sister never missed a pill either.
I was on pills, then Depo for years but now I use the Ortho Evra patch plus condoms.

My patch is $30 for a 3 month supply. I order from Caremark using my Blue Cross insurance.

I am on BCP but will get off after the HM and try (yuck!) condoms...I have a family member who was very sick because of blood clots caused by the pill - there's really no cure and the risks are too many for me.

My sister got prego for all 3 kids on the pill...yeah, it *****!

I was on the depo shot but i'm just came off of it so now i'm going on yasmin and for right now i'm using the condoms or the pull out But after the wedding i'm coming off the pills we want to start a family right away to and i can't wait either

I am on the birth control pill. I never had any bad experiances with it except forgeting to take it! I use to take Ortho Trycyclin, now I take Ortho Trycyclin Lo. Some people do have some problems, but I am thinking that is rare.
I prefer it to any other because A) you don't have to stop intimacy like with some, and B) it is not semi permenant like some.

Just be careful--I bled for 4 months straight on Yasmin. My GYN kept telling me that my body would adjust. It never did and I became very anemic. I am now on something else--I forget the name. I'm not bleeding anymore but still take iron pills.
