What went wrong?

What went wrong at your wedding? Was it funny, disastrous, or a little bit of both?

At my wedding:
-DH's yarmulke fell off when he kissed me during the ceremony

-DH took three tries before he broke the glass

-My veil went on fire (luckily Barron's must make fire retardant veils, since it just melted a little bit in a few places. I am so relieved that it did not ignite, since that would have been horrible, especially with how much hairspray was in my hair!)

I had been standing with a votive behind me on a table and my veil dropped in. Luckily, someone noticed it and by the time I pulled my head away, the fire was out.

I'm a little sad because I wanted to save my veil. However, it's a bit amusing, ESPECIALLY since no one was hurt.

Limos: We had 2 SUV Limos one for parents and one for BP and a Rolls Royce...our BP was so huge that my MIL and his aunts could not fit in them...pissed us off.

I wanted tons of candles on my tables but I didn't even have one

My Florist was supposed to give me a throw waya bo-k and decorate my cake and he didnt. Also, my Bo-K was not what I wanted.

When we finished the ceremony and we were walking down the aisle DH tripped (he didntt know there was a step) cant wait to see that on video

I think thats it ! But overall I had the best day of my life.

The most irritating thing that went wrong at my wedding (and it only related to me, really, no one else noticed or knew - except the ones I vented to LOL)... was that the straps on the back of my dress broke off where they connected to the dress! And it didn't just happen once... oh no... it happened a bunch of times, until finally my bridal attendant SEWED them on!!! I blame David's Bridal 150% though! I still need to write them a nasty letter

my dad never lifted my veil, so i'm looking at dh after a few minutes and he whispers do you want me to take that off you and i said yes please...

my strap broke as we were about to go into the reception. thank goodness my mom can sew!

these things just make me laugh, more memories of our special day!

That is hilarious!!!!

not that these things are 'wrong' but they are little slips that made us laugh

at the end of the ceremony DH and I went to go in for the kiss too early and our minister had to stop us before we kissed lol we looked like 2 people in a movie with puckered lips leaning into each other

that and our icecream cake was too frozen to cut!! it came time to cut the cake and dh and i were stabbing the cake with the knife trying to knock off a piece. we were cracking up though

yeah, i'm glad he said something cause i didn't want to lift it myself....guess my dad was really nervous

While I was in the bathroom of the bridal suite during the reception, the door knob on the stall broke and I was trapped in there for 20 minutes before anyone heard me banging.

It was kind of funny once I got out!

Me too! I'm sorry to hear you were disappointed but I'm glad I wasn't alone. I feel like everyone has such minor mishaps!

here's what went wrong at mine. You might want to get comfy, this could be long:

my videographer didn't show up and no one noticed. My photographer asked my DOC if there is supposed to be a videographer and that's when we realized he should have been at the RH. He missed all of my getting ready shots at the hotel, so there is no video of that, luckily he didn't miss the ceremony.

My 2nd photographer showed up an hour late. The GM were standing around waiting and he just never came.

I was running ridiculously late. We haven't gotten our proofs but I'm sure there aren't many shots of me with the BP. My MOH says we didn't even get a shot alone together but I can't believe this and honestly don't remember. I hope she's wrong. We had to take pictures during our CH since I was so late so we missed the CH and had to greet guests and the reception which took almost the whole reception time. We hardly got to dance at our own wedding

My bustle broke and we had to change our choreographed first dance at the last minute because I couldn't do some of the moves with my broken dress

My BM's camera was stolen and one of my cards was found on the floor opened. Luckily the guest gave a check, had it have been cash it would have been gone.

My BA threw out our ketubah and no one would help us find it. We're literally sitting at the table waiting WITH THE RABBI to take pictures and sign the ketubah and it was no where to be found. Our best man took it upon himself to check the dumpster...someone threw it away, he had to jump in the dumpster with his tux. The only reason why I know it was the BA is because DH told me what happened after they found the ketubah and I remember seeing her with the box.

My dad was so drunk he couldn't hold himself up for the father daughter dance. He is a large man and I was literally holding him up. It was horrible and all the photo/video is going to be me yelling at him.

eta: I thought of one more. One of our GM (DH's loser brother) didn't show up. No call, no letting us know he's not coming to the wedding, he just didn't show up. Of course we knew b/c DH's family had an idea he wasn't coming but it was still wrong and I still think of sending him no hard feelings laxative brownies.

no problem. A lot of people deserve these...in traffic

1)Well, it poured on my wedding day. My limo driver refused to pick us up in the rain so we were 1 hour late for the ceremony. My guests were waiting in the lobby and they all saw me ran inside inside.

2) DH and I didn't know what to do with the unity candle. We just stared at each other until our officiant gave us instructions. :lol

3) My mom forgot to bring the tea set for the Tea Ceremony. Good thing my RH had a backup.

4) I forgot to put my shoes back on for the mother/ daughter dance.

5) I was dancing with my MOH during the reception. I forgot what exactly happened but we were holding hands swinging really fast in a circle. I lost my balance so I let go because I didn't want to take her down with me. As soon as I let go, my MOH went flying across the dance floor and landed on her behind. OMG! I feel so bad but she laughed it off.

Let's see ....my dress was too long and I tripped walking down the isle so I had to hold it the whole night. I also kept pulling it up to make it shorter I pulled it up so high that it looks stupid in my of my pics. Also last minute cause I lost a little weight the seakstress put padding in my corset , bad move cause it pushed my boobs up and out of the bra and looked so unattractive. My boobs combined with the armchunk from pulling my dress up the combination is dreadful. Ladies make sure you try on your dress no matter how small the alteration cause it could make a huge difference. Other than me not liking how I looked everything else was great.
