What I WILL call them or what do I WANT TO call them?

Seriously, (to their faces )I will probably call them what I call them now...first names. FH calls my parents mom and dad. Hmmmm, who has the better 'in-law'?

mom and dad ...call them that now, the way i grew up its disrespectful to do it any other way - thats just my family ....i am not allowed to call my mom her ...my dad would kill me

I call them by their first names now and I will when we get married too, i feel like I already have two wonderful parents and although my in laws to be a great people and love me like a daughter i dont feel comfortable calling them mom and dad...

your too much.. you have those inlaws hah!

Im going to go with first names.. I already have one mom and dad.. i just couldnt bring myself to call them that

I've been told that I can call them mom and dad, but it is just hard to do. I fiind it very weird to do. I already have a mom and dad who drive me crazy enough.... now I'm going to get two more!?!?!?!?!?

I already call his mom 'Mom' but his step-dad will always be Larz! it would be esp. wierd calling him dad cause he is only about 10 yrs older than me! (FMIL married a young hottie!)

I agree, it's wierd to have 2 moms in your life! when we're all in the same room, they both turn around when i say it!

I can only say Mom and Dad to my own parents.

Probably when I am married I will call them by their first names.

I call them by their first names now but I have been told that I should call them Mom and Dad when we are married. I don't know how I am going to handle that. I already have a Mom and a Dad. It is going to feel so strange and forced.

I willprobably call them Hi like I do now.....its too weird any other way (plus I knew them before him - so it was really weird as we became more serious)
