We're having a debate here, I want to know what most people think is the most appropriate to offer.

Re: What would you choose as dinner options?
I chose the 2nd option, because I find a lot of people have a very strong aversion to lamb.

I personally love lamb, but I know people who don't like red meat or fish so if there wasn't a chicken option they'd be annoyed.

I'm definitely going steak, chicken, and a fish even though we also have lamb as an option for an entree. We're going to choose the baby lambs as an h'orderve during the cocktail hour and there will also be a carving station.

Second option because lamb chops are red meat and you already have filet mignon. Also although there are some ppl who love lamb chops...there are also many who don't. Most ppl will expect a chicken, filet m. or some red meat choice, and a fish, and a vegetarian option at a wedding.

I think the second option is most appropriate for a wedding. JMO

Second...it's best to have a variety of choices. I went to a wedding where the only menu choices were fish and game poultry, and I ended up begging for chicken fingers from the childrens menu. Not good!

2nd option-not everyone will eat the meat so you should offer a chicken option.

I pick # 2 also. It is always safe to have a chicken dish

I think giving people the option of having a chicken option would be better, as not everyone loved lamb, steak or fish. Chicken is always a happy medium!

I personally LOVE lamb chops! But option #2 is the best as it provides a 'one of each' option for your guests.

Re: What would you choose as dinner options?
I think the 2nd is more appropriate. Some people don't eat red meat and also a lot of people don't like sea bass. It's not exatly a safe fish choice, so I'd opt for the chicken.
I may be biased though since I will not serve any lamb or veal at my wedding

Chilean Sea Bass is actually an excellent choice for a fish. It's white, not very overwhelming in taste, and has a very meat-like texture. Salmon, (which I love) has a much 'fishier' taste, and is much more fatty, which many people don't like. If your RH offers it, try it in your tasting! You may be surprised! We had it at our tasting and I was blown away! It was a part of our menu.

I'd say the second, because lamb is one of those things that many people just hate. There's usually a lot of plain people who just want the chicken!

I think Sea Bass is on our menu (but we have 8 choices), but it makes me gag. I hate it so so much. I'd much rather have tilapia or mahi Mahi
