What would you do if you received a NASTY FM from a vendor that you already gave a deposit to?

What would you do if you received a NASTY FM from a vendor that you already gave a deposit to?

How would you all handle this? The wedding is 11 weeks away. I already forwarded the message to Ron and Liz, but now I am thinking that I should look for a new vendor...

Well, if it's someone that you can switch last minute, then I would. DEFINITELY. I would also use that FM to get your deposit back. What terrible business practices. I DO NOT tell the vendors that I am on this site, just that I got their info from here. I'm so sorry this happened.

Yes, we gave approx $300

from what i heard happen while i was away you should not say the vendors name to avoid problems(exspecially if it is the same vendor) and if people ask do it in fm. as for getting a nasty fm from a vendor that is tottally wrong and that is good that you foward it to ron and liz right away! i am sorry this happen to you! good luck in what you decide... imo i would try and change that vendor or if it was the person who was to do the actual wedding them maybe just the person and not the whole company. good luck!

PERSONALLY, I would eat the 300 bucks. In the grand scheme of things, it's not that much money.

Seems incredibly wrong and perhaps bad business practice. If I got something like this I would question how they operate. Honestly, if I could, I would book another but I guess I could understand from a vendor perspective if they gety a negative/unfavorable review on this board, since there are MANY brides on here, it could hurt them. Makes you wonder how honest you can really be on here but if you are uncomfortable I would see if you could get your deposit back and book another, who needs the worry when you already have plenty to keep your mind busy planning a wedding!! GET ANOTHER ASAP. You do NOT want this person working your wedding. They probably know who you are and will almost definetely not give you good service now. FM the name please? Thanks.

I guess I'll ask about the $ tomorrow. It's a shame because this is one of the vendors that I had been VERY excited about. But, now I am loosing faith...

I don't know what I would do, I guess it depends on the email and the service. If it were a 'big' vendor (i.e., food, music, flowers) and a truly nasty email, I might eat the deposit and find someone else.

What ever your situation, I hope it is resolved soon.
