What would you do if you received a NASTY FM from a vendor that you already gave a deposit to?

How would you all handle this? The wedding is 11 weeks away. I already forwarded the message to Ron and Liz, but now I am thinking that I should look for a new vendor...

I would speak with them first. If you still feel uncomfortable, eat the deposit! You don't want any unnecessary worries on your big day!

I think it was unprofessional for them to confront you in this forum and I would have concerns about using them for the wedding.

PERSONALLY, I would eat the 300 bucks. In the grand scheme of things, it's not that much money.

me too i did that with a vendor as well and lost 500 dollars but in the long run i was much happier with someone elses service and i didnt have to worry

There is never a need to be nasty. I would try and get my deposit back and then walk away, especially if it is someone you will need to work with for that day.

I am so sorry this happened. I would definately find someone new if you can. I wouldnt want to work with someone like that on my wedding day. If it is the one that is mentioned here I have no doubt that there are other vendors in that particular business who can help you at this late date. Good luck.

how nasty? can you post what was said without disclosing the vendor? was he/she being unreasonable? having a bad day?

i will bail as well. your peace of mind and and satisfaction is more important then a couple hundred $$$.

i am so sorry. did something provoke the fm?

eta: if the vendor really is J&R, why are they still allowed to advertise on here? there has been so many complaints and unsatisfied customers. i guess business is business though.
