What's one thing you have learned so far from planning your wedding?

What's one thing you have learned so far from planning your wedding?

I would have to say I've learned that FH's mother is seriously a crazy woman and I will never, ever be close to her. And that's fine with me! Anyone else learn anything along the way? (Doesn't have to be negative!!)

I have learned 2 major things

1. Things are a lot more expensive than I ever could have imagined, yet I do not care for some strange reason

2. I love planning and enjoy every aspect of this time more than I ever thought I would

i also have learned that weddings cost WAY to much, but i'm not particularly caring about that part

and that not many people get as excited about wedding planning then the bride

I absolutely agree. I've also learned that not every little thing is worth stressing over.

I learned that being in the wedding business is a great biz to be in.

I have way to expensive taste to be planning this alone. LOL

that you can NOT please everybody so don't even bother trying to... as long as you & your FH are happy with the decison... thats what matters

I learned that there is no need to visit EVERY florist or EVERY photographer or EVERY band...they pretty much all offer the same thing! As long as you get quotes over the phone and chat with LIW girls, it is easy to narrow down your options to two or three, then visit those two or three places. Why make ourselves crazy??

That no one else is as excited as me except 2 of my bridesmaids... but luckily I have you girls!!!!

And that you girls are one of the best resources I've found...I can't imagine planning my wedding without your advice and suggestions! Thanks

That I'm extremely impatient
That people will always feel the need to make suggestions even when you don't ask

it is more stressful at the beginning than I thought it would be...I felt like it was a whirlwind right after we got engaged...
