I called one of my oldest friends right after I got engaged so that she could share in my excitement with me and after I told her she said, ' do you mind, I don't want to talk about that right now, I'll call you back when I feel like hearing about it'.....WOW!....I was in such a good mood I didnt let it bother me....I just called my other friends who were happy for me. If that wasn't bad enough, I still was going to ask that same friend to be in my wedding and she proceeds to tell me, 'I don't want to be in your wedding because I want to look sexy by myself, I don't need you telling me what to wear'....that took the cake.

the best is 'You are doing everything too early.' i HATE that.. sorry that i dont want to be like everyone else and rushing around like a crazy maniac a couple of months before hand and i want more time to pay everything off

I wouldn't say that this is rude, but annoying...everyone at work keeps asking me, 'Soooooo, have you set a date yet?' or 'Soooooo, where are you having your reception?' These questions would be fine, but the same people have asked these questions over and over again. After the 3rd time that someone asked, I couldn't take it so I said...ummm, you ask me this everytime we meet in the hallway!!!

Are you ready for this one? I was on the phone with an old college friend the other day and she asked me 'Are you ready to be a wife?' and I said well I don't think things are going to change too much. FH and I already live together and everything. Well she said, 'Oh yeah, it's better that way. I like it when people go into it thinking that way.' What is THAT supposed to mean?? This is coming from a girl who hasn't had a healthy relationship all her life. Geez Louise, people annoy me!

Well basically EVERY word my father has to say about my wedding is rude and uncalled for. How about calling my fiance Antonio when he knows its Adolfo...bad enough to me but in front of other people, I want to punch him in the head
O and then my mother who isnt giving me a DIMEEE and I never expected it because she cant afford it butttt then has the nerve to expect me to start incurring extra expenses for her benefit that are completely unecessary. I am literally shocked and appalled at peoples rudeness. I don't know what I would do if people talked to me like that about my wedding... I would ignore the haters...

I can't recall any rude comments or questions having been said. Though I do remember feeling VERY annoyed a few times...guess it didn't really make an impact since I can't remember what it was about! That could just be my lack of short term memory
