The bride was ghetto and had the ENTIRE veil covering her face not just the blusher!!!! in the pics walking down the aisle you couldn't even see her face in any of the pics. my ex's mom had to get up before vows were exchanged and put the veil on her correctly. a mess!!!

I went to a wedding and the bride was 2 hours late for the reception because her limo had to pull to the side of the road, so she could get sick because she was 3 months pregnant and didn't tell anyone.
I went to another wedding where the groom missed the entire cocktail hour and the reception because he got sick to his stomach right after the ceremony.

At my friend's wedding in Ohio, someone went into the church and stole all the wallets from the bride and BMs while they were taking pictures before the wedding.
The worst part was that the police came by and warned people that it had been happening in the area and the organizer at the church said she had everything under control and she was going to lock up everyone's valuables during the ceremony, which they did. Too bad they were already empty!
The bride handled this all very well and has many pictures of her filling out police reports.

My best friend's date bailed out on him last minute so I escorted him to a wedding a the Fox Hollow last summer i think it was.
I went to the bathroom n came back to a 'Rumble in the Bronx'!!!!! Apparently they were was internal family drama that was going on..FOB tuxs was ripped and he was bloody!! Groom's shirt was off and he was bloody!!! GM's were fighting!! Other family members were fighting..Bride was in the back kitchen of the Fox Hollow bawling...I went back there 2 give her some water since everyone was frantic..Fox Hollow staff got involved and they were hit n bloody..Tables were broken, glassware was broken, drapes were pulled..Police was called!! it was CRAZY...
I was making jokes with the bride to ease the drama :' I didn't know Italians could fight like that'....'Told her well at least your hubby knows to do the right thing or he will have an army after him!!!!
Seriously speaking I can't even imagine how upset I would be if that ever happened to me..They had to end the reception hours early and they paid close to $200 a person!! and they had to pay Fox Hollow monetary damages not to mention any damage they did to the tuxs!!!!!!!!
Worst of all the EMBARASSMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After a friend of the familys wedding someone broken into the church which is also where the reception was held and stole all of the gifts, the china and not to mention the wedding dress the bride had left there for the night!!

Fight breaks out between best man and GM, while they were taking pictures of all the men with the bride. Bride is crying hysterically, she's sitting on a chair in the middle of all this.

the girl who caught the bouquet flashed the entire wedding as the guy who caught the garter put it on her thigh....and she wasn't wearing underwear....yes, we all saw!!!!

I saw a cake topple over. No joke. I was working this one wedding, and the cake had 6 tiers, all pedestalled......The entire reception we watched as it slowly started to tip over - I swear it was like the leaning tower of piza!
Luckily, they got through the cake cutting, but as we were rolling it into the kitchen to be cut it finally fell. Only the top 2 layers hit the floor, so at least they still got to eat some of it!
I'm not having a pedestal style cake at my wedding.

I saw a fist fight at a wedding once....It was a mess and then all family got involved and ended up in the coat room at the reception, the cops got called and everything. It was HORRENDOUS!

I went to a wedding where the grooms ex came to reception to start trouble. She broke a champagne bottle and tried to attack the bride.
Another time, I went to a wedding and the grooms ex wife tried to stop the wedding. The groomsmen had to escort her out. These ex's are nuts.

well, it's a long story.. but there was a bit of tension prior to the wedding.. with me being engaged and she wasn't (bitter). then she finally got engaged. but she was never happy for us. she is now the wife of DH best friend.
so the monday after my wedding.. I was already in Hawaii at this time.. I kept thinking of what she did to me.. I spoke to DH and he said that he supports me if I feel the need to confront her on this. So ON MY HONEYMOON, I called her.. when she answered the phone and when she realized that it was me.. she sounded so happy to hear from me?? I told her no girl this is will not be a friendly convo.. I told her how I felt and how she insulted me on my day.. and I said to her that I would never dream of doing this to my worst enemy and her response was.. me neither.. my reply to was her was but you did! her apology was lame as ever... so no, after my convo with her on my HM I have not spoken to her since and have no desire to! I am almost positive that after our convo she gave her side of story to everyone... and made me look like the b*tch... but I don't care.. everyone who was there and saw what she did at our wedding understands my reasons for telling her off. behind her back, they look at her as the crazy b*tch who thew up at our wedding!
No bride should have to deal with B.S. like this on their wedding day and esp. on their HM!
she might see this, as she is/was a liw bride on here.. but guess what.. I don't give a $hit!

I must admit... that thought has run across my mind more than once regarding FH's ex's. Although FH & I laugh at the thought I politely remind him that my friends will be quick to give a beat down if such an incident were to take place.

Lets see... I have been to weddings where two cousins fought over the same girl and most of the party runs outside to see the fight.
Thunderstorm and bad rain caused lights to go out and since the hall had to be run on generators that meants some things had to be taken off meaning the smoke fans in the kitchens which in turn caused the smoke detectors to go off, had the fire department arrive in full gear and the AC was on low. But at least in the end we all had a great time.
Another time, limo driver had no idea where the bride & groom wanted to go to take pictures so he took it upon himself to drive around to find a nice park. Mind you the BP had not eaten so he took us to 7-11 and the whole bridal party plus bride and groom rushed in to get food and big gulps.
The one I was in in February, some of the BM were drunk prior to getting to the church, 4 bouquets were missing (including mine and I was the MOH), florist had to meet us at the church with additional ones and mine was wrong.

Oh I have another one! Another wedding I was working (I've waitressed a lot of weddings), the ceremony was outside in the garden, in August, and it was so HOT.
Well, the Bride wanted everyone to release butterflies at the end of the ceremony (beautiful concept) - so everyone is holding these plastic containers with butterflies in them, for about 30 minutes directly in the sun (and who knows how long prior to that they were in the containers) - and they all DIED! So at the end as they were walking down the isle, everyone threw the butterflies in the air and they all dropped to the ground dead.
I'm sure she was disappointed, but to watch that happen was pretty damn funny!!!
