to help with your wedding? I'm interested because as yet, mine has not really taken too much action in doing anything.

mine's gone over any beyond - and I am super lucky
she ordered all my favors, then lugged all 118 of then to and from her car, she planned my bachelorette party months in advance and got everyone together, and she tried on 100+ bridesmaid dresses for me. shes the best.

She came with me dress shopping, and was there when I found 'the one'. She's been reminding me of all the things that I have to do, to help me keep on track. She also came to a Jericho Terrace showcase with me to check out vendors. But my FH and I actually went to vendors and booked them alone without her. So she's been helpful.

My MOH is planning my bachelorette party and bridal shower. She has also gone dress shopping with me. She has offered to help with anything included all the DIY projects. She lives in TX so she can't be hands on but her support is worth more than anything!

Mine's basically focusing on the bachelorette party...funny...b/c I told her I don't want one.

That's a great question and a sore point for me. I have two MOH's - my sister and my best friend. My sister isn't traditionally interested in girl stuff but she has come to try on bridesmaid's dresses and listened to me about all the details of the wedding. Not too active a role but a very good effort for her and I recognize that.
My best friend has been a complete dissappointment unfortunately. Since I've been engaged she has taken little to no interest in anything. She never asks about the wedding - nothing - not even what my dress looks like. Her only concern was the bridesmaid's dress and the bachellorette party. She didn't even come to try the dresses on but only has something to say after I picked the finalists. She's found out info. about the bachellorete party - -picked a date and found out prices. She's supposed to communicate that everyone else.
Sorry for the rant and the vent but this has really bothered me for some time. It made me see her friendship for what it really is. While I'm sad about it I have support from others.
My mom is planning my bridal shower.

She came out one weekend and we went and picked out the BM dresses, now she's coming out next weekend to get measured and put the order in. I know she's working with my mom on the shower. It's tough bc I'm in Suffolk and she's in BK, otherwise I know she'd be doing a lot more. But it's been all good so far!!

yes, I am also dissapointed with my MOH - she has shown NO interest, and I feel like I am annoying or bothering her whenever I try to touch base with her about the wedding - it is really sad

Well, I can't say she hasn't done anything. She did come with me to look for my dress and tried on some bridesmaids dresses and she's coming with me for my makeup trial, but as for planning my bachelorette party, she hasn't mentioned anything or about my bridal shower. Did you all have to ask your MOH or did she just step up and let you know about things?

Mine (sis) lives in Alaska so she's pretty much supporting all of my decisions and giving me advice from her wedding.

well i think i am lucky because my moh is getting married one month before me and i am her moh too...we are planning a lot together and it is so much fun, we are thinking of doing a combined B-party, i know she has been planning with my mom for the shower, shes great!

Well first of all, she's my personal trainer in helping me to lose weight to go dress shopping...she is planning my bachellorette party in South Beach, and most importantly she is there to listen to me while I drill a hole in her head with this whole wedding planning

my little sis is my moh so she isn't really doing anything. shes in college so i guess i understand. my friends are planning my bachelorette party in vegas and my mom and aunts are planning my shower. My sis is away at school so its kinda hard and she doesn't seem to interested. anyone else in this situation?
