when do you and FH want to....

when do you and FH want to....

...have kids? Do you guys want them right away? A honeymoon baby? Or do you want to wait a while? Or just play it by ear?

Since I kind of pulled the rug out from under myself and decided to go in a completely different career direction, I think it will be quite a few years after the wedding until we think about having children. I'll have to finish school (which I'll do in 2010) and I'd like to be in my new career for a while before completely changing my life with children. I think if I weren't changing careers, we would just play it by ear and see what happens. What about you?

I think FH & I are slightly older than most of you girls. I'll be 32 at the wedding and he'll be 36. I think we just want to enjoy being married for about 1 year then start trying to have babies. I don't really wanna be too old to be a mommy

i want to wait a little while...i also have to go to a specailist first before we even try b/c i have a uterine disorder ( and may need surgery) so we have to make sure we're 100% ready

We're not really 'kid people' so as of right now we're not even interested in having kids. But who knows what the future holds. Things may change.

i'll be 28 when i get married we're hoping to start a family when i turn 30 assuming that all goes well with getting tenure next year!

We talked about being in a house (which will happen right after the wedding hopefully) and being stable there which should be a few months after that - so within 2 years from now

I'll be 27 when I am married and would like to have our first child by the time I am 30. So we may wait a year and then have our first before our 2nd wedding anniversary. We'll see. It will happen when it happens.

well me and FH wont be living together right away so we def need to wait so we can get used to eachother. We talked about it and are going to talk about it after a year and see where we are at.
