...have kids? Do you guys want them right away? A honeymoon baby? Or do you want to wait a while? Or just play it by ear?
Since I kind of pulled the rug out from under myself and decided to go in a completely different career direction, I think it will be quite a few years after the wedding until we think about having children. I'll have to finish school (which I'll do in 2010) and I'd like to be in my new career for a while before completely changing my life with children. I think if I weren't changing careers, we would just play it by ear and see what happens. What about you?

I will be 33 at my wedding so we will probably only wait a year and a half before we start trying. I hope to time it so that I can be pregnant while writing my thesis so I can have the baby and take a few months off before I begin a post doc. My life generally does not go according to the plans I make but this would be my ideal time frame.

FH WANTS KIDS RIGHT AWAY. IF IT WAS UP TO HIM WE WOULD ALREADY HAVE A FEW. HE PLANS ON HAVING '8'. HE'S NUTS!!!

We plan on having kids like 2 years after the wedding. FH wants to enjoy married life for a little while.

hmmm.....ill be married at 27 so ill prob wait a year and HOPEFULLY buy a house or a condo then try. id like two by the time im 31 but who knows lol. my parents are very young, my parents are 49 and 52 so i never wanted to be too old. but i also dont want to plan too much bc i alwayss do and it just stresses me out lol.

You know, this is something women all over the world proably share... i'm from israel, and i'll be 27 when i'm married, and i think we'll wait 2 years or so. it's very hard to juggle between career and having a family. i'm working as information system engineer and i'm only making my first moves in this field, so i can't have childern right away. in the other hand, i want to be a young mom.. it's so complicated!

we're going to wait 3-4 years. he's 6 1/2 years older then me & in a completely different place in life, although he's so not ready for kids. i'm just finishing my degree & will need to work for at least 2 years to get my license.

We want to wait two or three years... Buy a house, get settled, and be further in our careers financially speaking. We also want to travel throughout europe for our one year anniversary.

We want a house first and then when we can afford babies, they'll come. Hopefully that's sooner than later!

Possibly start after 1 yr. I will be 29 (turning 30 month after wedding) and FH will already be 41 so he doesn't want to wait too long plus we both know we want 2. I know I cannot wait!
