Re: When do you start planning your rehearsal dinner?

Everything is still a disaster. BG really wants a rehearsal dinner. There are 5 people in each of our wedding parties. so that is ten people, then us, my parents (2), his parents (3), and his three neices and the ringbearer. So that is a total of 21 people. he might want to invite grandparents although I would rather keep it small. And depending on costs, we would invite out of towners. At most that would be another 15 people but i highly doubt there will be more than 10. I don't even know how to go about finding out which restaurants have private rooms. Bear in mind, we are doing this ourselves due to the fact that his mom spends all her money on his birthday and xmas gifts and has nothing left when it comes to us (oooh was that sarcasm??)
Do you really have to do the RD? I mean, it's really not necessary ... Maybe you could do an early practice and do a rehearsal brunch? I dno't know how you go about checking on private rooms either b/c his mom already knew where she wanted to have it... But I'm sure if you ask on here you'd get names of places... CS had hers at a firehouse and N had hers at Westbury Manor... Can you google or do an internet search? I wish I was more of a help on this one!
