When it's all said and done...

How much will your ENTIRE wedding cost, including HM, rings, acessories, etc.....

everything, plus rings is almost 30k. Thats NOT including a HM b/c were not sure we are even having one!
eta. My ring added ALOT to the total cost.. otherwise it would only be 25k.

I just did a quick calc. 50 +

That includes our honeymoon and tipping - stuff like that.

Everything, including rings and the honeymoon, but not including spending money...

About $18,000. (but the $3000 for the honeymoon was paid for by FMIL. Not by us.

We did a very good job planning an inexpensive wedding. But it would have been nice to have that money and use it to pay off my student loans. *sigh*

Amazingly we are looking at $13,000-$15,000 tops (ceremony, reception, DJ, ceremony music, Photo, invites, flowers, and rings). I don't know how much favors are going to cost yet because we don't know what we want yet. We are fitting the bill ourselves, so we are making it as inexpensive as possible. We actually got really good deals on our wedding bands, we picked them out months ago.

I shouldve asked you to plan my wedding

the figure goes up everyday, but now that all major vendors are booked, we got an estimate on our HM (w/o spending $ ) and pretty much know which rings we want ( he knows, I dont lol) we are at about 62k!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Way more than I EVER wanted to spend!!! Don't forget to add in shopping for HM clothes, RD outfits and shower dresses, plus film developing for the table cameras!!!

Another question:

Are you footing the bills yourself???

We are paying for 85% of the wedding. FIL's gave us some $$$ that covers the photographer and church.

We were very fortunate to have our parents help us out. We split the cost 3 ways, but we put a little more.

we are paying for about the same as you are, 85% or so.
Fh's parents are paying for flowers (3k, and also the RH, which I didnt even put into the 'budget')
My parents give us 500/month (they wish they could give more but its what they can afford, its MORE than enough imo) so that will be about 12k towards the wedding by the time its here.
its hard, but we know what we have to put away every month, and we stick to it, it will be worth it in the end

LOL! I didnt WANT to spend that much but fell in love with a particular ring that is in that price range
The way I look at it is we are spending so much money on stuff that will be over and gone at the end of the day.. at least I will have the ring forever! ( plus diamonds only go up in value )
Besides the ring is one of the most important parts of the day right ?
I will post pics as soon as I get my paws on it

Our parents are paying for most of it-- but we are def paying for some things ourselves.. Plus-- my parents are divorced- so it';s two sets just on my side alone.. and FH;s famiyl invited like 85 people without anyone of them able to be cut-- they are ponying up some cash too!

I couldnt agree more, we are spending whatever on things that will be done in about 6 hrs, that ring we will wear forever!!! that is why I am not looking at eternity rings ahhahaah, u know, cause its for eternity.

Mine is an eternity band also.. sort of like this without the things dividers. I wanted it to be no smaller then 4mm so I had no choice but to have at least 3.5 carats in it for it to look right.
