when visiting halls

when visiting halls

How long should I expect to stay at each reception hall? I am going to make appointments to visit some and I was trying to see how far apart I should schedule each place? Or can I just show up at the places. I would like to see a few in a day. Hope this isn't a stupid question. Thanks for your help

I would say we were there about 1/2 hr to 45 minutes You should make the apponitments like 1.5 hrs apart then to give yourslef time..

I would say 1.5 hours as long as it's not too far. If really far, then maybe 2.

good luck! we saw 4 in one day and by the 4th place, I wasn't even listening to what the guy was saying. It was a realllllllllllly long day and there is a lot of information that is thrown at you. We all had such a headache after we left. Also, we went with my parents and my sister, so it was 5 of us. It might not have been as bad if just FH and I went alone. To answer your question tho, we spent about 45 min to an hour at each one, so I'd say 1.5 hours apart for the appointments is good.

An hour and a half is a good time frame.

However, I don't recommend doing more than 3 places in a row. It is tiring and everything begins to blur together. I've done two places back to back and it's tough.

I did 2 hours aprart or 1 1/2 if the places were close together. Some RHs were quicker then others...wed just go to the next place an appologize for being early.

Figure at least an hour per hall. Try to go to halls that are close together!

its hard to say, there were times when we'd sched three a night and have to cancel one.. and there were other nights we'd call to see if we could come in earlier.
some halls talk your ear off, some you just don't like, and some you want to know more about.

I'd say do them an hour apart PLUS travel.

I have to agree. We went to only 2 in one day and we walked out with a headache after the second. ALOT of info for one day. i planned them 2 hours apart if that helps.

Definitely make appointments as opposed to just showing up. As to your other question - i never saw more than 1 in a day, and i spent at least an hour at each one. Good luck!!

i agree... some places really quick like 20 min and others dragged on to like 1 hour so it depends

Re: when visiting halls

it really depends bc some places after looking around it wasn't for us, so we were there for only 30mins, but some places we loved and we were there for over an hour. i would try to see as many that are close together, this way its not too much driving.

i scheduled one appointment at a time. then again i was looking at halls not very close to each other. also i felt that they give you a lot of information in which you need to process.
