i was with him when he picked up and paid for the ring, so i knew he had it.
I thought he had something special planned, but nope, he kinda just shoved it in my face that night at 11 30 when I was half asleep on the couch.
Didn't say anything special, didn't ever say 'will you marry me?', but hey, at least he was on his knees (yup, both of 'em).
It was awkward and abrupt, and to this day, I get a little upset sometimes when I think about it....but I understand that it's NOT the ring, it's NOT the proposal, it's the fact that I have this incredible man for the rest of my life.
(But that doesn't stop me from bawling my EYES OUT whenever I see TLC's perfect proposal or ANY OTHER thing that involves a 'real' surprise proposal.)

We were at a really nice restaurant and he ordered wine so i thought maybe that was the night! So we had dinner and he started smiling a lot!!! Then he got on one knee and i got SO nervous and giddy, then started really crying. I was shaking and couldn't wait to get out of there to tell everyone.

He got down on one knee.. I kneeled down too... He told me to get up. I was clueless!!! When he pulled out the ring, I was in total shock!!! I couldn't believe it was happening. It took me 10 minutes to finally say 'yes' !!!

My FI kept touching his pocket all night, and i kept asking him what was wrong, he looked so nervous....after he pulled the black box out, my first words before he said anything where 'NOOOO' (but it was a good no haha I was just so shocked) I thought at that moment i was going to pass out..

I turned around, and realized that he was serious, and I walked out of the room and started laughing hysterically....finally, I said yes after about ten minutes...

I WAS SCARED TOO - I WAS KIND OF EXPECTING IT BUT NOT AT THAT MOMENT. WHEN HE OPENED THE RING AND PROPOSED HE SAYS I DIDNT ANSWER HIM. (I THINK I WAS JUST STARING AT MY RING!) SO HE HAD TO GIVE IT TO ME TO PUT ON AND HE SAID 'SOOOOO? WILL YOU?' AND I WAS LIKE YES! AND I CRIED.
I WAS ALWAYS AFRAID I WOULDNT CRY BUT IT JUST CAME OUT ANYWAY :)

i kind of was expecting it. i was so excited and just kept saying 'you've got to be kidding'. haha. i was just so happy and he did it so romantically!!

I was trying to get pics on last night, but then FH came home, and he doesn't like when I tell that story, so I signed off, but, I can't get them to come up n e way, so I guess it doesn't matter!

Okay, thanks, actually, they really don't do the ring justice! Last night when I was taking them, I realized how hard it i to get a good pic of a diamond.

my jaw dropped and I literally couldn't speak. what happened was, he proposed on the Saturday before Valentine's day - this year. he already gave me heart shaped earrings with little diamonds - that was the 'decoy' gift.
he got me GOOD!

Totally had an out of body experience. Everything was tingling.

I was in complete shock - although I expected it, I didn't expect it when it hapened. I was speechless, and didn't say yes for like 5 minutes ..... until FH said 'are you going to say yes?' Definitely a surreal moment!!!

I thought he was joking around...Cuz I had always bothered (haha) him for like a year...saying, when are you going to propose buddy! So when he finally did, i thought it was a big joke and i was like, WHO KNOWS ABOUT THIS..all mad...i thought he was playin a joke on me w/my brother...so he was like, no really..so i asked him it was real about 20 xs...n he was like so.............whats ur answer!! i was like yes!!!!!!!!!!! i always thought i'd cry, bc i cry at everything, but i didnt. BUT i did cry telling everyone the story...lol
