Where are you living after the Wedding?

FH and I would love to buy a house, but are finding that the 'Good' areas are just so expensive. And we dont want to live way out in Long ISland cause it is not convenient for work. I dont know what we are going to do??

Right now we have an apartment in Coram(which I love), but a few months after the wedding we are going to start looking in Florida. FH has family down there & we are so sick of the cold weather & the high cost of living on LI!

We just went to contract on a home in Smithtown, hopefully we will be in it this summer after the wedding. I would love to move to Florida, but my FI's business keeps him here for now.

Come to Dallas! DH and I just bought a wonderful 3 bedroom 2 bath house with awsome design and ammenities! Taxes are like $3000 a year...we are about 20 miles from downtown and you don't have to ice your car off in the morning during winter!

We were VERY LUCKY,

we bought our house about 3 1/2 years ago, and it's our dream home (after a lot of renovations that we just completed a few months ago). We got 'in' before the market went totally crazy.

It's on the North Shore, and is a waterfront home. However, we've been engaged for 3 years, and had to postpone our wedding a few times because of this house. But now, I say it was worth it.

Here's a few pics that everyone has probably seen already, but here goes...dining room and bedroom.

We will stay in our Bellerose apartment for a while, our landlord is a nice guy, but we are looking forward to move to Europe. Either Spain or Portugal, or anywhere in the Mediterranean area, FH is sick of NY's long and cold winters, but we can't move until I get my residency usa paper's straight to then get the European too ... lot of paper work!

I found my house the day after we came home from our Honeymoon....and I live in No.Westchester...it is aboiut 50 min north of NYC

we'll be living in the same dump we live in now!

Hopefully we'll buy a house shortly after the wedding!
