Where are your BM's getting dressed the morning of

My FI and I had dinner at my parents last night to discuss some details and I got into an argument with my mother over this: She's telling that its better if all my girls (5) get dressed, have their hair and makeup done at their own homes then come to my parents house. and I'm telling her no, I want everyone together so I know no one will be late and to celebrate the morning before I walk down the aisle. she repeated herself again adding the fact that the house is to small for everyone including my hair and makeup ladies. so i said 'I'm sorry, I thought this is MY wedding, if you don't want all this at your house, we'll get dressed at my house, simple as that'. My dad finally had to separate us and change the subject. My FI just kept quiet.

Am I wrong?

We're all staying at my mom's house the night before and we'll get ready there. It makes sense since we'll all be together at the RD anyway, we'll just stay together to make things easier for the morning of. It's gonna be one big slumber party!!

I booked a suite at the hotel that we booked for OOT guests...so the night before we will all stay in the suite together and get ready together that day.

me too - though I don't know if they'll all stay with me overnight.

Im getting a hotel room and one of my BM will has a room in the same hotel...so if all else fails we can use here room for a second bathroom...my moms house is too small and I live OOT

We are all getting ready at the hotel before the wedding. I'd like us all to be together. Its a very special bonding time with my BM's and I wouldnt want to loose that.

Everyone will be getting dressed at my mom's house (where I still live). I am kind of upset with my FSIL because she wants to get her hair done by another person and not join us in getting ready at my house. Im not made, but I would like her to be there while we get ready. Oh well, she is going to do what she is going to do. The rest of us are getting ready at my mom's house

I really want everyone with me as I get ready. I booked a suite at the Wingate. Jenn and Oksana told me that they do bridal parties there all the time and there is plenty of room. Anyone who wants to stay with me the night before is more than welcome. My parents live OOT, so they will be in the hotel as well. I am having an AM ceremony, so I plan on having food for everyone.

I agree with you. My apartment is small but we are all fitting in there. Like no one ever had a slumer party. LOL

We are getting married at night and we are not using limos - ceremony and reception in the same place. We are all getting ready in the bridal room. My hair/make up person is also an invited guest so I guess she will be getting ready there too!


I'm doing this too. We'll all get ready at the bridal suite at Jericho Terrace. Is your mom going to get ready with you, or just your BP?

ETA: But Sarabelle, that is a good idea to do it at the wingate. I'm OOT so I'll be staying there with the BP as well. Hmmm, well I have some time to think about it.

I think all at one house-- if you get some one to come and to make-up and hair for all what she is going to travel to everyones house ????

We are all getting ready in a hotel room right near the church/reception hall. The guys are getting ready in the same hotel different room.

My mom is the one who wants all the girls and my aunt to stay at her house the night before. I want my MOH and FG and that is it. I hope to meet them at the salon or my house to get dresses...

I booked a suite at a hotel, and all of my girls are coming from far away, so I'm not sure where they're getting ready at yet.

But the suite and bathroom are big enough, whatever they decide!!
