where did you get your gown?

where did you get your gown?

Trying to decide where to go for dress shopping next week. I was going to go to Adrienne's, but it seems a lot of folks have had trouble with them. So, where else? I'm looking to keep the prices absolutely no higher than $2,500 (hopefully including alterations), and lower is better (but not lower quality). Thanks!

Got my dream dress at Macy's in the Smithaven mall for just under $600!! The people there were wonderful, really happy to work with me even with my crazy budget!

Got my Maggie Sottero from The Bridal Garden in Bethpage...they offered me the lowest price $700.00 and they are extremely nice. Plus they have a ton of BM and MOB dresses.

I would also try calling Phyillis at Gownfind when you find the dress you want. We ordered our BM dresses through her. The bridal store I found them in charged $300. Phyllis got them for almost half the price including tax.

Good luck! Dress shopping is fun!

I got my dress at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa, they were wonderful to deal with for bridal gowns. The sales people will really work with your budget and ZiZi the seamstress is amazing and a doll. Also Lillettes in Baldwin I had gone to before Bridal Reflections, and I really liked their customer service there. They have been around for years, and will also really work with your budget.

I tried on dresses at RK bridal and then found it cheaper online.

I am going this Sunday to the Bridal Garden in Manhattan. The dresses are samples donated by designers (samples mostly). It is a not for profit organization and all of the proceeds go to a children's shelter. I love the idea of the money I spend on my dress going to a great charity and they have designer gowns at a fraction of the price.

How are the services there? Is that the place that has all kinds of wedding services? Is it across the street from Sizzler?
