Trying to decide where to go for dress shopping next week. I was going to go to Adrienne's, but it seems a lot of folks have had trouble with them. So, where else? I'm looking to keep the prices absolutely no higher than $2,500 (hopefully including alterations), and lower is better (but not lower quality). Thanks!

Re: where did you get your gown?
Kleinfelds, they were great. But RK is better in terms of price. They do not carry all brands though, but if they have your dress, do a search online for the cheapest price you can find. They match prices and will give an additional 5% off. For instance, i found the bridesmaids dresses at Bridal Reflections for 265, saw it online for 180 and they matched and reduced it another 5%! So i went there for the bridesmaids.

I went to Bridal Reflections in Carle Place also, and had a great experience with them there. The girl that helped me immediately 'got' the kind of style I was going for, and I fell in love with the 1st dress she had me try on. Then, to boot, she convinced the manager to give me the gown at the trunk show price!

Got my dream dress at Macy's in the Smithaven mall for just under $600!! The people there were wonderful, really happy to work with me even with my crazy budget!
edited for spelling!
I got my dress here too........the price was unbelievable. $350!!!!!!! It was a discontiued dress off the rack. and it fit perfectly. I only needed minor alterations. I couldn't believe it! It was reduced to $700 from $1300. I thought the $700 was a great deal, but when she rang it up, 50% came off of the discounted price! Deal of the century!
I worked with Doreen who I loved, but all the ladies there are so nice.
