FH and I have started shopping for wedding bands and it has been a somewhat stressful event because of all the options there are out there.
Plus I hate high end, high pressure sales associates who tell you what you want instead of listening to what you want!!

As i'm marrying a 100% good ole' Irish boy and I'm part Irish, we went with Celtic bands. That truly narrowed down our choices. I did a TON of online searching and we finally found a place we loved in New Hope, PA - right on the tip of Jersey. No pressure at ALL!!! Wonderful place...
We also had a nice experience at Kay Jewelers - no pressure there - at least from the person we met..

We got ours at SVS Jewelers in Oceanside. They're on Long Beach Road. The owner, Sami, is a great guy and was really helpful -- we were very confused with all the options too!

We went to the Tri-County Flea Market, the entire 2nd floor is jewelry booths so we had a lot to choose from.
We ended up at one of the bigger booths called Diamond Roof and worked with Sam. We were happy with our rings and the service, def recommend.

we are getting our bands from lundstroms in the mall. they are great my ring is an inset for 320 and my FH ring is a gold with cross going around that that was 400. you can also try overstock.com they have great sales... hth

i bougth mine from Litman Jewlers in Broadway Mall. I found them very nice and not pushy at all. I hate pushy sales people.

We went to Tri-County. My mom is friends with one of the jewelers there, so they really helped us out. The whole 2nd floor is jewelry, so you can go there and take a look and pick who you are comfortable with.

I think we are going to go to Elsa's. I've heard good things about them, although I have gotten nothing but harassed by them since the bridal expo. (Thanks LIW!) I wouldn't give them my business but my engagement ring is kind of weird and I know they make models of rings for you right there so at least I can see what will look good with my e ring.

We got ours at Fortunoffs. Our salesman Mikhail was wonderful to work with. He wasn't pushy and didn't pressure us.

I 2nd Sam at Diamond Roof- he was wonderful!!! He made a ring for me and it's perfect! good quality, and great prices!!

Elsa's fixed my e-ring when one of the prongs snapped off and I almost lost my stone. They did an absolutely beautiful job, I actually think it looks nicer now since they tipped all of the prongs. Their customer service was great and it was ready very quickly. We will probably be going there to check out bands.

Also, we just went with plain white gold bands, so it was fairly easy...

I looked on line to get an idea of what i wanted them I went to J&H Jewlers in Bellmore and they had the exact rings we were looking at made it nice and easy

Jim is great, right now he has my e ring to make the mold for my band. FH is getting a DORA ring, it's flexable, great for trade guys.
