Where to get invitations?

Where do I start? Did you buy them on-line or go to a store and look through samples? Any recommendations in NYC or Nassau LI?

I ordered mine from Jodi from Simplicty Planning (a vendor here). She is wonderful to work with.

I'm getting married in Dec, 2006, and I'm already planning and getting ideas. I'm going to book the ceremony and the reception site this summer, the photographer soon after, etc. I'm already looking around for ideas for my invites and gowns, etc. With invitations, it's never too early (even to order when u know the date and time) because it's really a job to stuff them and get them addressed, and the last 6 mos before the wedding go by SO quickly. (I was just a MOH)
