We r almost at the 1 year mark!!! (YIPEE!) But cannot decide where to stay for a few days after the wedding, FH is a teacher so we are taking a mini moon in NYC and then going to Tahiti on a cruise over the summer. I was thinking Marriot Marquis, but was told to get a corner room, any other ideas???

I would recommend the Garden City hotel. But I see you mentioned the Marriott marquis - if you are planning on going into the city you could stay at the plaza - my parents did that for their wedding night and I have a few friends who stayed there on their wedding night. It is a beautiful hotel!

one of my BM & her DH stayed at the GCH - although they said it was beautiful.. if they had to do it over again.... they would have spent their money elsewhere... paid too much for just the norm on a lot of things.......
