Where was your HS prom and what was your dates name?
Mine was at The Plaza in Manhattan in 1986 and I went solo!
Well, I actually chauffeured (sp?) my one best friend and her date and my other best friend who was also dateless. BIG FUN!!
Afterwards I think we went to a party on the Upper West Side - had to pee behind a dumpster (can't even remember if this was me or my solo friend, I just know it's part of our 'prom story'), came back to Queens and we were going to hang out in a terminal at LaGuardia and watch planes ( ) but at the time the parking lots were meters and we had no change!!!!

Mine was at the Huntington Town House. And my dates name was Anthony - who is now my FH
Afterwards we went on a cruise around Manhattan.

Mine started at the Museum Club in the South Street Seaport and then we got on a boat that circled NYC until 5 a.m....no after party for us. My date's name was David. I probably would have had more fun if I went without him. My best friend and I had lots of prom drama.

Good , Lord! umm, it was at some wedding place on LI, Crest Hollow maybe? I dont' know--we took a limo! After we went to the Palladium in Manahttan! & then we went to Seaside Heights, NJ for the weekend & didn't hang out with the rst of the peopel from our HS that wnet there. I do rememebr tht our hotel was actually in Tom's River & we got lost trying to get back there form Seaside.
My date's name was George, he was my boyfriend at the time.

Ok...First I went to FH's prom in 1997. It was at Chataeu La Mer, and we had a great time! Afterwards we took the limo into the city to see the Rocky Horror Picture Show live, and then we all slept at FH's house and went to Great Adventure the next day.
My prom a year later however, wasn't as memorable. I don't even remember where it was. FH and I went for about 1/2 hour, and then left! We went to the beach and snuggled. lol
FH's name is Jay :)

good lord, I remember the prom drama. That's why I only stayed a half hour. I just recently started talking to the girls I had prom drama with...we are talking like 8 years later!! I wish i could have done it all over. What seemed like such a big deal then is nothing now!

I loved prom time. I went to a few different ones but my senior prom was held at the Sands in Atlantic Beach. Afterwards we went to a beach party and into the city.

Mine was the the Huntington Townhouse and I went alone. I had fun with other people's dates and the teacher that I was in lust over - but I didn't see what all the hype was about.

Mine was centuries ago!
It was at the Hungtington Hilton (but I think it was called something else back in the 80's) My dates name was David (my ex that I was with for 8 years and my only other serious BF before I met DH).

11 years ago at our HS in the gym- they make it really nice and there a red carpet you woalk down while the town watches
I went with this guy Ben- who is apperantly a rock star now- according to people at my reunion- but all I saw was short, chubby, blading guy with blonde streaks in his hair

aja...our prom was at East Wind! haha. I just had to check DH cause I couldnt remember at first either. My date was a really good friend, Tom.

I went to too many:
I think mine was at the Crest Hollow CC. I went to one at the HTH.
Another in the city at the Marriot Marquis. One at the Tarrytown Hilton

That's all I can remember.
oh, and we went to Great Adventure the next day for my prom The Hamptons for another Jersey shore for another and that's really all I can remember.

ewwwwwww! I hope you showered before putting on those rented caps & gowns! MY friend HS had a tadition of camping after the prom too, but a week! man. . .that is a little much! I think we stil had school & some tests, we had about 3 weeks untill graduation.

My prom (1990) was at the Crest Hollow CC. I went with my ex-fiance Henry. We had a schmuck limo driver who was stoned by the time we got out of the prom. He got lost in the city and my brother (who took my then best friend) had to drive us back to the Island. We ended up in Long Beach, then went to a diner on Sunrise Highway in Wantagh (the Lighthouse) around 5:30 a.m. where a group of off duty cops got into a brawl with some rowdy drunkards from Mulcahey's. They TORE the place apart (smashed out windows, etc.). That was about the most exciting part of the evening. The actual prom itself was sort of okay I guess.
If you can believe, my husband was at my prom with his then-girlfriend. I was friendly with her in social studies and she was forever going on about him. I met him that night and all...I didn't run into him again until three years later. Weird...

Thankfully we didn't have prom drama with each other...but her boyfriend was best friends with my boyfriend and he brought another girl instead of her since they had just started dating about a month before the prom and he wouldn't speak to her...she was crying on my shoulder...my boyfriend was trying to show off in front of his friends by being a jerk to me, so he looked like an a$$ when I told him off in front of all his friends. Fun stuff. My prom was definitely overrated.

I grew up upstate, so no one will have a clue of these places...
Freshman year dated a junior. Pete..(LOSER!) Their theme was 'Eternal Flame'...Bangles It was held at Pegasus. A week before the prom he calls and says 'You know you're going to the prom with me, right?!'...Ummmm..What?! I had one week to find a dress...OMG...what a ugly dress that was!
Sophmore year dated a junior. AJ. The theme was 'Wonderful Tonight'..Eric Clapton. Don't remember where the place was. I ended up wearing the same dress as another girl...hehehehe....
Junior year..my prom. Still was dating AJ. The theme was 'At this Moment'... Billy Vera & the Beaters. This was the best prom because it was my class. I was voted prom queen. The prom king was a great, sweet guy in my class who passed away a few years ago...motorcycle accident. Such a sweet guy...still so unreal. At this point my Mom told me I had to buy my own gowns from now on...HA! I guess two was the limit.
Senior year...went with a guy named Dan. Their theme was 'At Last'...Etta James. This prom was held at Herbert's Catering. Loved this dress...got to wear it another time too!

I didn't attend. I hated High School with a passion...anyway it was on a yacht around the East RIver (I went to High School of Fashion Industries ).
I went to my DH's prom at the Copa though...that was our first 'unofficial' first date.
