The night the yankees lost the world series OCt 25th 03 on the beach in Long beach while sitting in the wet sand. I had a wet butt the whole night while we were out celebrating. Totally caught off guard.

So I finally have a good story to tell. He surprised me and flew us, first class (which I had never done before) to Seville in Spain and then in Venice for the week of Carnevale. He had prearrranged for a magnificent suite and for us to be fitted for costumes and to attend one of the big society balls. He had also arranged for us to get there on an old wedding gondola with a band playing. So there we were in full costume, fireworks behind us, band playing and singing, and in a broken voice, he asked me. Then we got to the ball (where all 300 guests knew) and they had champagne and toasted us all night long. Amazing. Here is a picture of the proposal moment.

In my bedroom he was holding all of the x-mas gifts to bring to his family house....BOY WHERE THEY SURPRISED, WHEN WE ARRIVED.

Disney World---at the Cinderella wishing fountain in back of the Castle. He said his wish was to spend the rest of his life with me.

In the car, New Year's Eve (we had first met on New Year's Eve 10 years earlier in 1993!)!!! Didn't get the e-ring until approx 1 month later.
